Pleasant stay

Travelling solo and the staff have been kind, courteous and very helpful. I had a delayed check out which was brilliant and helped me leave my bags safe whilst I waited for onward transport. Rooms spacious and comfortable. Reception staff excellent. I would visit again

Poor stay

Stayed for 2 nights as part of a group trip from Goa
Cold shower and mould in bathroom.

Positive reviews were not realized - noisy, mediocre service, disappointing

Positives - spacious room, reasonable A/C, bottle of water in room at checkin, rooms appeared clean
Negatives - minimal hot water for bathing, uncomfortable bed, noisy (!!!), promised complementary breakfast was minimalistic and largely inedible, promised 'toiletries' = bar of soap only, internet frequently interrupted, many staff couldn't seem to answer questions, power interruptsion occurred frequently during my stay.
Overall, the 3-star rating is a farce (fair = 2-star). This is not a high end hotel, not even mid-level. The online reviews appear to have been written by the hotel itself because what I wrote above was agreed to by others with whom I spoke. I've been in worse hotels, but

Good hotel for visiting Udopi

Stayed here as part of a small tour group. Rooms were very comfortable. Great shower. Restaurant offered quite an extensive Indian menu. Also some Chinese dishes. Food was very good but service in restaurant was very mixed. Hotel was reasonably priced and majority of guests were either visiting Udopi or on courses with the Banks nearby.

Pleasant but needs improving

Pleasant 3 star hotel with some friendly staff
In my opinion it is slightly over priced
and requires some updating and decorating
For the 3 days we were staying there the male manager at the main reception area continually reassured us that we would be able to pay and check out using our UK bank/credit cards
On checking out of our rooms both our cards were declined as international cards are not accepted
We then had to go to ATM's to withdraw cash and incurred bank charges
The receptionist then lied when trying to explain that it had been a problem with the bank for a month so why didnt he say that on day one
The cashier in the non veg restaurant downstairs was extremely rude to us and refused to serve us because there were no waiters available meaning that he would have to do the work
The manager of the same restaurant was also quite rude standing by out table making conversations whilst we were eating our meal
There are TV's in the room but during our stay no english channels were available
