Cheap and Cheerful

From the moment we arrived there we greeted by friendly staff everywhere .Sure the rooms are small but the staff make up for it in smiles and service. There is complimentary tea and coffee served at any time throughout the day and early evening and the buffet breakfast you can also have omelet or dosa Marsala cooked to order. The hotel is within walking distance of many eating places and 15 min walk to Gateway of India and Marine Drive . The Aqua line that runs to the airport is literally a 3 minute walk from hotel and only 70 R the cheapest way to get there. If leaving from terminal 2 there is a complimentary bus from terminal 1. There is a lot of street noise so bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper (we were on first floor so quite noisy but no fault of hotel as street works)

A memorable stay at a lovely Hotel

We have been staying at The Residency for many years now and it is really like staying with dear friends who welcome us with such grace and make certain that we are as comfortable as possible. The Hotel is spotless with great charm. The staff all make travelling with a disability easy and take great effort to make you feel at home. The assistance given by Gopal with our luggage and my walker along with any queries we had about transport and the city were always solved by him with great courtesy and care. He checks to make certain you are well cared for, that your room is comfortable and that you want for nothing. All with a smile and real sense of professional care, given with great warmth. Even when the hotel is extremely busy he makes certain you are cared for.
The breakfasts are absolutely delicious, freshly made with a great selection. The restaurant and room service is fabulous with Pansingh, Kesar and Ballu all making certain you have everything you need: all delivered with a smile and great care. Girish and his kitchen associates prepare beautiful breakfasts each day. We miss all aspects of The Residency, most of all the kind and caring people who work there. They make visiting Mumbai a memorable occasion.

Wonderful experience in residential hotel

I really their good service. Every staffs, receptionists and actually all of them really nice and friendly. The hotel is comfortable and have market stalls nearby you can walk around.

Good Hotel with reasonable price for Mumbai.

Staff were excellent. Extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating. Clean room although quite small. Sadly the bathroom smelled quite strongly of sewage which was unpleasant. Breakfast was very good and inclusive.
