We recently stayed at Trident Nariman Point to celebrate my grandson Vedant's 18th birthday and his achievement of scoring distinction marks in the CET examination. It was a memorable family celebration, made even more special by the wonderful hospitality of the team.
Our sincere thanks to Sanchit Bhatia for beautifully planning our stay and arranging a decorated room on the 20th floor. The sea view, Queen's Necklace view, rooftop and overall ambience of the hotel were absolutely stunning.

There are some stays that simply exceed expectations and then there are stays that leave a lasting impression on your heart. Our recent visit to Trident Nariman Point belongs to the latter.
We chose Trident to celebrate two very special milestones in our family, my nephew Vedant's 18th birthday and his remarkable achievement of scoring 88% in the CET examination. We wanted these moments to be memorable and thanks to the incredible team at Trident, they became memories that we will cherish for a lifetime.
Even before our arrival, I had the pleasure of coordinating with Sanchit Bhatia, Director of Rooms. From our very first conversation, he understood exactly what we were looking for. With remarkable efficiency and genuine warmth, he arranged a beautifully decorated room on the 20th floor, overlooking the mesmerizing Arabian Sea and Mumbai's iconic Queen's Necklace. His impeccable planning, attention to detail and thoughtful hospitality laid the foundation for what turned out to be an extraordinary stay.
Upon arrival, Richa from the front desk welcomed us with a warm smile and graciously escorted us to our room. The beautifully decorated room instantly brought smiles to our faces. Every little detail reflected the effort and care that had gone into making our celebrations truly special. A heartfelt thank you to the housekeeping team Sang, Yash and Bansi for creating such a wonderful birthday setup. Their creativity and dedication made our celebrations even more meaningful.
A delicious chocolate cake was arranged for Vedant. It was beautifully presented and absolutely delightful. We captured countless photographs, laughing together and enjoying every moment in the comfort of our stunning sea-facing room.
Our in-room dining experience was equally impressive. We ordered pizza, an Avocado Club Sandwich and Veg Pulao. The Avocado Club Sandwich deserves a special mention, it was simply outstanding and one of the finest we've ever tasted. The Veg Pulao was comforting and flavourful. We only had one small observation regarding the pizza, as we felt the toppings were slightly limited. What truly impressed us was the hotel's response. Within no time, Tushar Singh, Restaurant Manager personally came to our room with a freshly prepared replacement pizza. His willingness to immediately resolve the concern without hesitation perfectly demonstrated what true hospitality looks like. His thoughtful gesture transformed a small concern into an experience worth appreciating. We are equally grateful to Shubham from the In-Room Dining team, whose courteous service and cheerful attitude made every interaction pleasant and effortless.
Our appreciation also goes to the morning Housekeeping team & Om who went above and beyond to fulfil our request for Oberoi souvenirs. Their promptness and willingness to help reflected the service culture of the hotel. Later that evening, Swaroop from Housekeeping ensured that our room was impeccably serviced, maintaining the exceptional housekeeping standards throughout our stay.
A special thanks to the Guest Relations team for the thoughtful surprise of the luxurious chocolates accompanied by a heartfelt handwritten note. It was a wonderful gesture that made our stay even more memorable and truly reflected Trident's exceptional hospitality.
One of the most memorable parts of our visit was celebrating Vedant's birthday at India Jones. The experience there was absolutely outstanding. Captain Manish Mohite, guided us beautifully with menu recommendations, ensuring every dish complemented our celebration perfectly. His warmth, professionalism and genuine enthusiasm elevated the entire dining experience.
We were delighted when Deepanshu Arora, F&B Manager personally visited our table to greet us. His thoughtful surprise of the signature Golden Yantai Melts was a wonderful gesture. It was our very first time trying this delicacy and it was absolutely delicious.
The celebration became even more special when Captain Manish along with Dhruv, Ravendra and Arsalan, enthusiastically gathered around to sing "Happy Birthday" for Vedant with smiles, applause and infectious energy. Their heartfelt celebration turned a simple dinner into a lifelong memory.
Later that evening, we enjoyed dinner from Frangipani, where we ordered Paneer Tikka Masala along with rotis and naan. The meal was enjoyable and the service was prompt. However, I would like to offer one sincere suggestion. Considering the exceptionally high culinary standards maintained across the hotel, I genuinely believe Frangipani has the potential to become even better with further refinement of its cuisine. A stronger culinary experience there would perfectly complement the excellence seen throughout the rest of the property.
The following morning, Animesh from Housekeeping thoughtfully replenished our fruit basket and drinking water, once again demonstrating the team's remarkable attention to detail. Before checkout, Sharyat from In-Room Dining kindly packed our potato parathas, cake and dry fruits for our journey, ensuring nothing went to waste and making our departure even more comfortable.
Breakfast was another highlight. I had expressed my wish to enjoy breakfast from India Jones and Captain Sachin kindly arranged for it to be served through room dining. To make the experience even more personal, Jagjit Singh from Frangipani F&B personally delivered the breakfast to our room, greeted us warmly and ensured everything was perfect. Such thoughtful gestures are what distinguish good hospitality from truly exceptional hospitality.
Beyond the impeccable service, the property itself is breathtaking. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring every corner of the hotel from its elegant public spaces and beautiful lounge to the rooftop, which offers spectacular panoramic views of the Arabian Sea, the magnificent Taj Mahal Palace Hotel and Mumbai's iconic skyline. Every angle was picture-perfect.
We also spent a relaxing evening at the beautifully maintained, temperature-controlled swimming pool at The Oberoi, which was an absolute delight.
To conclude our stay on a perfect note, Tushar Singh, Restaurant Manager once again surprised us by thoughtfully sending cold coffee and ginger tea for my nephew and my mother. His consistent warmth, attentiveness and genuine care made us feel less like guests and more like family.
Our departure was just as pleasant as our arrival. Aayush, Assistant Front Office Manager warmly enquired about our overall experience and ensured our checkout was seamless.
A special mention to Kartik from the Front Desk for assisting us with the billing process. He handled everything efficiently, ensuring our checkout was smooth, hassle free and pleasant.
Utkarsha bid us farewell with a heartfelt "Parat Yaa means Come back again" a simple gesture that beautifully reflected the warmth of the Trident family.
