Overall a great experience

It's a comfortable stay with clean rooms and hygienic bathroom. Best part of this hotel is the hill view from your room and spacious sitting arrangement on the terrace. Food is also available which is good in taste. Staff is also good

Come If u like being bitten by spiders and scorpion... Stay away!!

One of the WORST HOTELS– STAY AWAY! (if zero was an option, we’d give that)
We checked into Hotel Basera, Mussoorie hoping for a relaxing getaway. What we got instead was straight out of a horror story. The moment we entered the room, it was obvious hygiene wasn’t even an afterthought—cobwebs hanging from every corner, dust caked on furniture, and an eerie sense of neglect.
But it got worse. MUCH worse.
We spotted KANKHAJURA (centipede) crawling freely across the room, and before we could process that, we found a BLACK SCORPION—yes, an actual venomous scorpion—hiding near our bed. We immediately reported it, only to be told by the staff that we were either imagining things or exaggerating. It took an intense argument and repeated pleading before they even agreed to come take a look.
When they finally moved the bed, there it was: the centipede and the scorpion, just chilling as if they were part of the room service. The staff’s reaction was casual at best and infuriatingly dismissive at worst. No apology, no empathy, no urgent clean-up.
This wasn’t just a bad stay—it was a nightmare. We were genuinely scared to sleep, and we left with one firm resolve: never again. We’re writing this not just out of frustration but as a warning to anyone even remotely considering this property.
There are countless beautiful and safe options in Mussoorie. This is NOT one of them. You've been warned.

Amazing stay with beautiful view

An Amazing Stay with Warm Hospitality!
We had a wonderful experience at Hotel Basera in Mussoorie. The location is beautiful with a lovely view, and the rooms were clean, cozy, and well-maintained. What really made our stay special was the amazing hospitality — the staff was extremely courteous, helpful, and always smiling. They made us feel right at home!

Excellent Stay

I visited there wef:27/8/24 to 29/8/24 for three nights and enjoyed very much.First of all we talk about help desk/reception,it hardly took five minutes to complete all formalities with in five minutes, that was very smooth.I will specially recommend two name Mr Arun and Rakesh ji, they co-operated us very much.Secondally we talk about restaurant, food was very tasty and hygienic, service was remarkable, they made vegetables totally fresh and tawa fulka was available, it was so tasty and easily digestive.Prakash and Ashish, these two guys were very helpful.One thing should be noted that they charge tax on food items,still rates are reasonable.Thirdly housekeeping,it was also totally satisfied, dhanveer, yogesh Vivek, they are very helpful and co-operative,Overall we satisfied from their all services and will like to visit again.One thing I also just forgot to say about Rakesh ji,he is so cooperative, he immediately changed my room as I said him for change.Anyways totally satisfied.

Amazing

Good neat and clean rooms.
Linens and towel changed every day.
Very neat and clean bathrooms.
Cleaning is done every morning.
Reception staff is very decent dpecislly Arun who is with them for last so many years.
I assume because of his nature he is continued by the owner.
Good at the restaurant is awesome.
After a day spent on mall road we enjoy dinners in their spacious dinning hall.
Last but not the least hats off to the smiling and helpful Mam Priya.
My heartfelt thanks to her and her team
