Best in Panchgani
Hotel Mala’s, Panchgani is a budget-friendly heritage hotel known for its peaceful ambiance, lush greenery, and excellent vegetarian food. It is located near Table Land and within walking distance of the Panchgani market.

"Not a value for the money"
We had a 2 day stay on a duplex room, opted since there was no choice left.
After a long drive, we reached on time, but rooms were not ready. We were asked to wait for another 30 mins, but reception staff never felt asking us for any refreshments, at least hv curtesy to ask the kids, when they were at fault. We checked in. No one told us there will be repeated power cut, Emerg DG starts, comes on load, then switch over to the grid, which goes on. Management never thought hv a UPS for the lights and fans at least, you don't need a nasa technology. Ceiling fan pipe was nicely jammed on the false ceiling, which lead to humming sound during operation. Wash basin drain pipe had a leak, team was aware, they kept a mug underneath, problem solved. All 3 light in washroom connected to 1 single switch, during night can't think of hvng a dim light, crazy. Washroom power points not working. Tissue paper holder broken. Basin tap and shower mixer tap filter badly choked.
However, the duplex rooms are not properly separated from neighboring rooms—just a single common door, resulting in zero sound privacy.
Washroom floor tiles are very slippery. With the kind of sharp tiles and pointy counter table in the vicinity, if you slip can hv a serious injury.
Main sliding window latch not working and no grills provided. 2 antique lamp shades installed on the bed backrest corners, we had a near miss, almost banged on the forehead.
The room service team were well mannered. Restaurant had good ambience and the staff gave good service.
I am sure this whole place interior done by a 5 star rating architect. Not willing to visit next time or suggest any friends.

Comfortable stay, tasty food and friendly staff
Great location, lovely and warm staff, delicious food and loads of greenery around. I stayed there for about 3 nights and was wowed! What i loved is that they went out of their way to make my stay comfortable. Very nice and well designed rooms, very very comfortable. They have a nice pool and a great outdoor cafe! Who knew that Panchgani would have a 24/7 cafe in a hotel! Please visit the Khinger table land during sunset, the skies are magical. I would love to go back to Malas and would highly recommend it to families, solo travellers and anyone else looking for a comfortable vacay :)

Horrible experience not as per photos & videos
Horrible experience.....don't go seeing the videos
Bathroom was in pathetic condition....broken tiles, leaking basin and the shower was like a jacuzzi leaking every wear, no working charging point, worn out towels and bed linens....infact we had booked for 2 night but had to leave in one night....and now since one month struggling for refund which was initially told in 2 days....only good thing is food(authentic bohra food)
