Located in Mawal, The Bob house is in the mountains. Tikona Fort and Pavana Dam are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Aamby Valley Golf Club and Della Adventure. Swimming offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with mountain climbing and cave exploring nearby. This hotel features a restaurant, a fitness center, and a bar/lounge. Free WiFi in public areas and free self parking are also provided. Additionally, a complimentary children's club, conference space, and a garden are onsite. The Bob house offers 20 accommodations. 32-inch LED televisions come with cable channels. A Truly Memorable Stay at The Bob House – Full Marks!
Our recent stay at The Bob House was an experience we’ll always cherish. Located conveniently near the tranquil Pavana Lake, the property is surrounded by endless natural beauty and peaceful views that instantly relax you.
We travelled as a family of five—my wife and I, our toddler son, and my senior citizen parents—and the place had something for everyone. The food was excellent, each meal thoughtfully prepared and thoroughly enjoyable. The pool was clean and refreshing, and the overall ambiance was perfect for a quiet, quality getaway.
What made our stay truly special was the hospitality and warmth of the staff. A big thank you to Mr. Abhijeet and Mr. Vincent, who were extremely attentive, hardworking, and went the extra mile to ensure we felt comfortable and cared for throughout our time there.
One moment that stood out—after we checked out, I realized I had left my power bank behind. Mr. Abhijeet personally arranged to have it returned to me in Pune, which was a truly thoughtful gesture and way beyond what’s expected. It spoke volumes about their commitment to guest care.
If you’re planning a family retreat close to nature with top-notch service, The Bob House is a fantastic choice. We returned with beautiful memories and would highly recommend it to others. Full marks from us!

Pool view room (how P becomes F)
Booked this sorrow through MMT.
Pool view room was booked, one wall had not working AC which took more than few chases and got working, another wall had door of bathroom, third wall had entrance door and forth wall had small window with beautiful curtain stopping you to see tin-roof of another room.
On asking where is pool view then was explained that pool is at same floor and it viewed you when you entered. When asked why I paid premium then fault of MMT was explained.
Well the people were awesome, tolerated my frustration and emotions coming out because I got fooled. So after punishment of underground fool view room anything offered by hotel?
Yes, no discount to room charge amounting 5.2 K and no discount to food and no future offer as token of sympathy for a family whose stayed there in fool view.
But except fool view, people were nice english speaking. Food was not bad and fool view room was clean inside.

Good family resort in Pawna Lake (Lonavala)
It's wonderful property. Clean and spacious rooms, I like specially ground floor rooms with bunk beds where family members or kids can sleep. Food is also good. Buffet breakfast was good. Swimming pool also is good of 4.5 feet. Many games available. Property is on the road. I was happy that I didn't book tent stay like camp, this resort is far far better that tents. Only issue is hot water available after 8 am and breakfast at 9 am.

Relax Mood Experience
Everything about the resort was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where food was delicious.
Great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable.
Resort is very close to Lake which makes atmosphere more cooler throughout.
After few hours of check in staffs are no more staffs they become friends.

Great potential, but in urgent need of a facelift
Five of us friends booked a night's stay at The Bob House during the first week of June. This was our first-ever trip together (we have been a group since school days...25+ years), and so we were eager to make it happen. Furthermore, one of us was also celebrating his birthday, so it had to be special. After shortlisting a few properties, we zeroed in on this one because of some very impressive images and reviews that we found online.
At the end of the trip, we came away with feelings of great elation about having made the trip happen, but some mixed feelings about the stay.
A review is in order because the property truly holds great potential:-
Location: The location of The Bob House is probably its biggest USP. Located about 120–130 km from Mumbai and around 21 km from the Kamshet railway station, it provides a nice getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. Since the resort is nestled between hills on all sides and situated on the edge of the Pawana Lake (literally a walk across the road) in Lonavala, one can enjoy breathtaking views of the lake and the surrounding hills from one of the upper rooms of the resort. Location-wise, the property is also a trekker's paradise, with the Lohagad, Tikona, Visapur, and Tung forts all falling within a 20 km radius, and the Pawana Dam and Dudhiware Waterfall also in close proximity.
*Word of caution: The final 3–4 km stretch of the approach road towards the resort is literally a dirt road with rough terrain, and you will probably experience a bumpy ride. But then again, you will probably not think of it as too much of a big deal once you've reached your destination.
Ambience: As the name suggests, the resort has been set up pretty intelligently with the underlying theme of Bob Marley and his music. Accordingly, everything in the resort is amply bathed in the colour palette of the Rastafarian movement, viz., red, yellow, green, and black. The smart use of shipping containers for certain rooms, the vibrant colours, and the ample foliage of mango and other fruit trees add several notches to the generally positive vibe of the place. Fans of Bob Marley and reggae music will be delighted with the classics being played on loop through the course of the day.
Rooms: We booked a 'Panoramic Lake View' room, which is one of the upper-level rooms. The room was a tad small for the five of us, but fairly comfortable with two queen-sized beds and a bathroom. For me, the key highlight of this room was the wooden deck/balcony (with a safety railing) outside the room, from where you can feast your eyes on the scenic beauty of the lake and of the swimming pool below. Standing on this deck in the early morning and simply staring into the distance was a cathartic experience.
Welcome and Amenities: The owner personally came to usher us into the resort and direct us to our rooms, which felt nice and welcoming. He was also kind enough to allow us an early check-in since we arrived a little early. Moreover, he helped us order a cake for our friend's birthday. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful.
While most things about the facilities and amenities provided were pretty decent, there were quite a few aspects where they fell short. For instance, there was no welcome drink as promised, and only a single 1-litre water bottle was kept in the room for 5 occupants. Furthermore, the games room is in urgent need of cleaning and a fresh coat of paint, and the swimming pool needs some deep cleaning. The biggest shock was when the water in the bathroom/toilet suddenly ran out early in the morning because the water could not be pumped into the tanks on time...that was definitely a bummer.
To give the resort some benefit of the doubt, I believe many of the staff members were on leave at the time. But for us friends who booked the room at least a month in advance, this came across as a let down on very basic expectations.
Food & beverages: The food was another low point for us at the property. Everything needs to be ordered at least 2 hours in advance because everything is cooked fresh and from scratch (valid point); however, the portions are quite small, and the cook is probably not very good with certain cuisines (especially Chinese). Nonetheless, the breakfast spread in the morning was simple, good and tasty.
Overall, I would rate our stay a 3/5.
