Excellent service!

Despite only being rated as a 2-star hotel, the service here was much superior. As a rural hotel, we did not expect many services from the hotel, but were pleasantly surprised to find a 24 hour restaurant, clean and well-kept AC rooms, and very helpful staff.
The concierge was especially helpful with arrangements for our stay, including booking us a taxi for the day, and helping us to find a currency exchange to get local currency.
The food was very good, and we also enjoyed going to the tea stall run by the hotel on the edge of their property. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Hotel Amil and would definitely return if in the area again!

Decent Enough

While the rooms are nice enough, and there are all the necessary facilities (Restaurant, Pool, etc), -the service, especially at the check-in desk was poor, to say the least. Other than that, some of the staff were extra nosy regarding what goes in inside the rooms (which, sure, is their right, but it also kind of of reduces the comfort of just having a quiet, relaxed stay).
All that said, it's a good option to stay still, within the context of the area, and it's also helpful for events and seems to be more family-friendly and family-oriented.

Professionally managed hotel

I was initially sceptical about this hotel’s service. First point, it was located at a remote town Rajapalayam. The hotel is also enjoying monopoly since this is the only 3-star property in Rajapalayam.
But they bowled me out with their service. The services were extremely professional right from welcoming me till the checkout. Restaurant staff showed high degrees of professionalism. On a casual chat with a restaurant staff, I came to know that all the staff there were qualified from catering institutes. My notion of staff being recruited from local community got a deadly blow! The food, including the breakfast, were detailed and tasty.
Room was swanky clean, and they fulfilled their promise of providing complimentary 1 litre water bottle every day. Room had kettle to make coffee/ tea. Hot water in bathroom was available from 6 a.m. Although the property is located bang on a national highway, I did not feel the noise. Hotel had both open and covered car parking. Unlike many hotels, where security guards run behind us for money, even these persons in this hotel showed their professionalism and did not disturb me (nor any other guests).

Pleasant stay

Clean and sanitised rooms. The staff were wearing masks which ensured our stay was going to be safe. The pool is to die for, except the fact that it was over chlorinated.
Overall it was good. Recommend staying for a day or two. The food was great.
Plenty of parking space. Nearby attractions are also easily accessible.

Worst

They don't even know what is customer experience. You need to listen them and they don't listen to you. They think like they are th monopoly in the place and making their own decisions. It's better to avoid
