A spacious, scenic, and family-friendly retreat near Sonajhuri Haat
We recently stayed at Resort Titli in Santiniketan with our family, and it turned out to be a very memorable experience. What impressed us first was the location — being just behind Sonajhuri Haat, the resort offers a wonderful mix of convenience and tranquility. The setting is beautiful, with lush greenery, a well-kept garden, and a very relaxed atmosphere that makes you slow down and actually enjoy the place.
We had booked premium rooms, and they were truly impressive in size. Both rooms were exceptionally spacious, clean, comfortable, and nicely maintained. After a busy routine, staying in such airy rooms with a peaceful surrounding felt genuinely refreshing. The whole property is highly photogenic as well, so even a simple walk around the garden feels special.
Food was another strong point of the stay. The breakfast spread was served hot and was very satisfying. We also tried both Bengali and Chinese cuisine, and both were delicious. It is always reassuring when a property gets both taste and hygiene right, and this one certainly did.
The staff deserve special mention for their excellent behaviour. They were polite, helpful, and welcoming, and they made the stay feel easy and comfortable for the whole family. The pool was good, and the garden area was ideal for a relaxed stroll in the morning or evening.
For families looking for a peaceful Santiniketan getaway with spacious rooms, good food, greenery, and a calm atmosphere, this is a very good option. We would definitely recommend it and would be happy to return.

Money minded hospitality service
The experience in this property for 2 night stay is pleasant. However the room rates are exorbitantly very high since the property is situated in remote location of Shantiniketan.
Also to bring to everyone attention that the check in time is 1 pm (officially ) but we were allotted room at 2 pm .
Also we wanted to check out late on our departure date at 4:30 pm where in they have charged half day room rate !!!
So I would request all the travellers think twice before you stay here in this property as the hotel management is just sitting here to extort money from the tourist/ travellers.
I would not recommend anyone to stay here as the etiquette of hospitality is missing when you are just targeting to extort money from the customers in someway or the other.

The hospitality at this establishment is truly outstanding. The staff members are incredibly kind and welcoming, making every guest feel right at home. Their pleasant demeanor and genuine care for each visitor create a warm and inviting atmosphere. It's evident that they take great pride in providing exceptional service. I highly recommend this place for anyone seeking a memorable and delightful experience.

Resort Titli is a striking new entrant in Santiniketan, blending colonial-inspired architecture with tasteful woodwork, stained-glass windows, and distinctive touches, such as a restored Kolkata tram, lending the property an elegant, heritage aesthetic with a contemporary resort feel.
Location
The location is excellent—just behind Sonajhuri Haat and easily walkable—making it ideal for guests planning to explore the market and Sonajhuri’s surroundings. Access is straightforward, and local transport (Toto) is readily available right outside. The resort also sits beside a large waterbody with a quiet ghat for peaceful evenings.
Rooms
A Deluxe Room with a balcony (including breakfast) offered spacious, immaculately maintained interiors with understated wooden accents and an inviting layout. Bathrooms were spotless and well-stocked with essentials (dental and shaving kits, soap, shampoo) and fresh towels. The balcony is a highlight, perfect for unwinding and engaging in late-night conversations.
Amenities and Common Areas
The outdoor swimming pool is of decent size with a dedicated kids’ zone—great for family time. Well-manicured lawns and abundant greenery provide ample open space for children to play and adults to relax. Parking is generous and convenient. A fitness center wasn’t evident during the stay.
Dining
The in-house restaurant, “Rajbarir Bhuribhoj,” delivers a regal ambiance. During the Durga Puja period, the menu was limited, but overall taste and preparation were excellent—the traditional Bengali thali is highly recommended. Breakfast was decent, with scope for variety. In-room dining quality varied (the fish finger was underwhelming), service was slow, and tray clearance lagged despite multiple reminders.
Service
Front-office hospitality stood out, with warm check-in, welcome drinks, and a generally courteous and smiling staff across the property. One exception was noted at the restaurant, but overall, the service culture is guest-centric and positive.
Connectivity
Mobile network coverage (Airtel and Jio) was poor, with near-absent 5G signals in parts of the property. The resort’s Wi‑Fi was stable and sufficiently fast for routine work, partially offsetting carrier limitations.
Family and Kids
Lawns and the kids’ pool zone support family-friendly stays. However, an indoor play area would significantly improve the experience during hot afternoons and rainy spells when outdoor options are limited.
