Economical Hotel

This hotel provides good standard in an economical budget. For big room book the super deluxe. Breakfast is very basic which consist of only Tea, bread butter and omlette sandwich.

Hotel River View, Jamia Nagar, Delhi

I stayed at Hotel River View in Jamia Nagar district of Delhi on two dates: February 3rd to February 7th and February 20th to February 23.
I was impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms, especially room 205, the room I stayed at from February 20th to the 23rd.
The staff treated me well. I received complimentary tea and toast each morning. I felt very safe in the area and explored the surrounding back streets and alleys each day. There is very little crime in this area and tourists can feel completely safe when they go outside.
They have a fine restaurant called Goshtana with an extensive menu to choose from. They will bring your food right to your room.
The washroom in room 205 was very good and had hot water. I have no complaints.
To sum it up I would recommend Hotel River View to tourists, especially international tourists.

Hotel River View February 2026

I have been to Hotel River View in Jamia Nagar twice this month, at the beginning of my trip and now at the end of it. It is a very fine establishment and pays close attention to the needs of its guests. I stayed on the third floor at the beginning of my trip and am now on the second floor in room 205. The washroom is very fine. My room overlooks the street and gets ample sunlight in the daytime. The hotel is clean and quiet. It would be very suitable for international tourists. The food is very good too since they have a restaurant here called Goshtana which brings your meals to you. The staff are all pleasant and helpful. So, I do recommend it to those who need a quiet, clean, and safe accommodation. I will miss it when I return home.

Worst. Hotel. Ever.

Worst hotel I have ever been to, and I have traveled to many countries for work. Although the pictures speak for themselves, allow me to warn other travelers who may be deceived by the hotel website. This place is a dumpster. Full stop. It is deep in the Muslim district of New Delhi, which features piles of garbage on the street side, heavy traffic, dust, pollution and a general unsafe vibe. The rooms are extremely dirty, old and with no maintenance whatsoever. They say buffet breakfast, when actually they bring a tray with 4 slices of bread, a thin omelet and some tea to you. Been there 3 days, same breakfast every day. None of the staff speaks a word of English. They never cleaned my room in 3 days, although maybe it is for the best as I didn't feel comfortable in any of the staff accessing my room - having 2 laptops and other valuables.
Trust me when I say that most positive reviews are fake. There is nothing to appreciate about this hotel and anyone considering it, should be steer away.
