Decent stay at the Jyothi suites

A short stay at Jyothi suites and a very pleasant one there. The building has 5 apartments in all. Each comes with a kitchen living and two rooms with one attached and one common bathroom. The apartment is spacious.
The bed sheet dint look too clean and i had to ask for it to be changed.
They have very basic utensils, has stove and a fridge - we dint use any of them. Food isn’t available .. we had one meal at the Srirangam temple and breakfast at Mani’s cafe. Worth a short stay with family. Note they don’t have elevators and one has to use the stairs all times. Car parking is available but hard to manage when visitors park and don’t leave the keys! Wish they had someone to atleast serve tea/coffee

Some amenities shown in Expedia pictures weren't actually there - microwave etc. Better to call them and check before booking.

Near by Srirangam

Jyothi Suites is best for family going on the pilgrimage of Srirangam. Well maintained, near the temple, around 700-800 meters away from the temple. Would have been much better if bathrooms are little bigger. Rooms are well maintained, clean, spacious hall, kitchen with refrigerator and few of the utensils.

General maintenance required

Pros: Good location. Adjacent road of main Gopuram. Hardly two minutes by walk to the temple. Very good staff. Basavaraj was very courteous and informative. Good restaurants within 200 meters
Cons: Congested area in the day. Non functional geysers, no utensils in the kitchen, old furnitures, moderate sheets and towels.
