Excellent experience at The Lavitra

Excellent experience at The Lavitra, Udaipur. Staff is very cooperative and smiling face. Breakfast was very tasty. Location of the hotel is very close to all the major sightseeing. The hotel is very systematic. Staff is very much helpful n guide you to all the nearby places. Very peaceful location to stay.

Pathetic Room & Greedy Mannerless Hotel owner

Dont go to this Hotel.
Pros -
(1) Hotel owner will behave nicely, Yes sir Ok Sir till you show money
(2) Location near main road
(3) Small Dirty pool
Cons -
(1) Manner-less and very rude owner
(2) Extremely poor service. Too less and overworked staff
(2) Underpaid and untrained staff. For every request you have to remind 20 times.
(4) Rusty and Dusty Rooms in very poor condition
(5) Untidy, broken and old bathroom amenities
If you have money to spend give to charity but DONT book room in this hotel

Disgusting experience

Was undoubtedly the worst hotel that I have stayed in. Claimed to have 24 hrs running hot water. But out of the 4 nights that we have stayed, we didnt get running hot water for a single day in the morning. Had to make numerous calls to the reception after which they used to bring hot water in buckets & because of their delays, everyday somebody had to use electric kettle to heat water. Extra bed mattress had no sponge in it & was changed after repeated complains. Food was ok but housekeeping deserves a big zero. It was a prepaid booking so I had no option to change.

Great hotel to stay at Udaipur

The hotel is a heritage hotel with a nice decor. We had a nice comfortable AC room with all the amnesties. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The hotel provides a good view of the Fathehsagar lake from the terrace. Would definitely recommend this hotel for stay at Udaipur.

Heritage hotel in Udaipur

Decent hotel renovated from a Heritage building in Udaipur. Good location, parking available. Rooms quite spacious although the bathrooms could do with some renovation.
Food is decent although limited in variety. Staff of hotel are very helpful.
Downside is that there is no elevator available and hence access to upper floors is difficult for senior citizens.
