Home away from Home

This place is nothing short of a cozy home feels within a place. The staff is hospitable and the hotel is located on Assi Ghat. The location makes it so convenient. We enjoyed a comfortable stay in our boutique room.
The hotel house, place like rooms , according to your need you can pick the room size.
Prakash ji at the front desk is an amazing personality, he not only help you with you itenary but also guides you with best of his knowledge of the city, he recommended us some off beat locations and were very fine recommendations. We had found a friend in him.
The chef Bhola bhaiya, didnt let us down even once, the meals were home cooked and utterly delicious. Must try their home made Pickles and Jams.
Overall this was a pleasant stay, I am surely coming back soon

To improve

We stayed at this hotel during a trip organized by Prem Viaggi.
The structure itself is appreciated for its excellent location (Assi ghat) and for the style of the common rooms and furnishings.
The main problems are: breakfast with very little choice for Westerners and dilapidated bathroom in the room.
Also noteworthy is the absence of a real double bed (two single beds pushed together and masked by a bedspread).

An Acquired Taste

Location, Location, Location..... perfect right on the Assi Ghat.
However, this hotel is an acquired taste. If you are used to 5 star luxury and associated amenities, this place is not for you.
If you want to get in touch it is spot on.
We were told it was 4 star...it isn’t
In fairness Varanasi is a shock to the system.. this hotel follows suit...

Just perfect

Right in front of the river when the morning and evenjng ceremonies are celebrated, this hotel is more a house than a guesthouse. Clean, beautiful, full of pictures and antique objects, well furnished, with terraces overlooking the Gange. Staff incredibly gentle... and a buffet dinner really well cooked and tasty.
Just two things to improve: I would put a minibar in the room to chill water (in Varanasi is so hot and humid that you need it) and I would accept credit cards.

Located right on Assi ghat

Lovely place with helpful and charming staff. It is a veritable maze of a place with multiple common rooms and outdoor gardens overlooking Assi ghat. Rooms are small but comfortable with AC and private bathrooms. Food is pure veggie, simple but very good. Can be a little noisy on an evening if there is an event going on at the ghat but this is Incredible India !
