A very well maintained dorm in the middle of Kashi

We were a group of 8 people travelling the ghats of Varanasi. This guest house is very close to the prominent places in the ghats. The place is very well maintained and all of us were given a dorm which had 2 AC's which was required in sweltering heat in varanasi.
It was pretty basic but very nice stay.

Centrally located

Well I wouldn’t call it a good option if you are with your friends or in large group but yes again if you are traveling alone and want a guest house near to the market and station so you can definitely give it a try.Tariffs are also very low.

OK but wet and dingy

So the room had a bed and a small bathroom, but so do most places. We were on the third or fourth floor, and the stairs were wet and slippery due to a leak. Room was dirty, dark and damp, and it looked like the bathroom hadn't been cleaned in a while.

Friendly guesthouse in great location

Really sweet and friendly staff.
They serve your coffee in a normal size glass: not the usual half-a-mouthful sized paper cup you come to expect in India.
Location is where you want to be.... it's down half a dozen narrow galis - only juuuust accessible with my motorcycle (with immense difficulty) Which they had a parking spot for.
It's directly across from a little temple and less than 5mins walk to the major ghats.
Negatives - wifi didn't reach the top levels and it's pretty noisy at times with the temple doing their thing downstairs

Decisamente sporco

Avevamo prenotato questo hotel per 6 notti a un totale di 42€ decidendo in particolare per il punteggio "favoloso" su booking. In realtà non capiamo come sia possibile perché la camera che ci avevano dato era così piccola che il letto ci si incastrava appena ma soprattutto era troppo sporca anche per gli standard di varanasi e dell'India in generale.
Inoltre avevamo prenotato una camera con bagno ma mancava il lavandino che era in comune ad altre stanze ma non funzionante. La mattina abbiamo fatto il check out pagando, purtroppo, il 70% di tutte le notti prenotate.
