Overall The Royal Vista is absolutely what was needed for a comfortable respite from our rather hectic schedule.
A very pleasant surprise down an Indian lane, including a bullock tethered over a fire for the smoke to medicate it.
Our whole stay was extremely good.
An ideal place for rest and reflection in this awe inspiring city.
The hotel is clean and relatively quiet.
Our room had everything we require, except a fridge. This meant we bought water from the hotel at 32 rupees. The bed and pillows were comfortable. We did have to ask for extra lavatory paper but that seems to be the case all over India. We brought our own supply.
The food is very good . Plenty of choice and flavour. The lovely young man in the restaurant offered me great advice when asked for a recommendation for a lightly spiced choice.
Afghani chicken, it was a delight, unusual to my palate but I loved it.
The main strength of this hotel is definitely the staff. They are all smiling, friendly and helpful. Very willing to help when needed, when everyone joins in. A special mention to lovely Ruby. Her main function in life seems to be to feed up tourists. We learnt about several Indian staples from her. My husband received some great recipe tips.

Worst Hotel in Varanasi and booking portal MMT
Most pathetic hotel ever visited in my entire life. Got hotel booked through make my trip.com , pictures and ratings shown on website are totally reverse., location of property is worst can't even think of even a single star rated. Tried cancellation but staff of make my trip as well as hotel didn't responded properly. So request please don't trust either of them. Totally waste of money.

Not a courteous hotel at all
Fraud hotel , do not book , my flight got cancelled and they are not willing to help me out .i would like to clarify that hotel booking manager was not cooperating at all , i work as a middle class man , flight got cancelled , they didn’t even had courtesy to refund me for 1 night , i booked for 2 nights . This hotel kept my money for both nights , entire management was not at all courteous, i am sure stay at this hotel would have been not courteous as well , i hope they change policies for emergencies and last minute changes

Under rated Hotet, 3 star with 4 star facilities
The hotel is under rated. It is a 3star hotel with facilities and design like a 4 star hotel. We booked 7 rooms and had 10 cars with us we were wondering hotel does not have a parking but the staff told us that the hotel have a valet parking when we went there we found huge parking & secure space land where a lot of car can be parked its just a 2 mins drive hardly.
Food:-
Chef Manish made our day right from the breakfast lunch and dinner it was superb with not so hotel hyped up rates.. the rates were genuine and taste was superb
Soft Drinks:-
This hotel does not have a lot of soft drinks options except for cold drinks juices and sodas
Rooms:- we booked mix category rooms and all the rooms were cozy and used natural colors interior we felt very relaxed.
Price- we booked the rooms from MAKEMYTRIP out of 7 rooms 4 we booked from MMT and rest we booked directly through them in which we got cheaper rates i suggest you to do the same.
Staffs:- Hotel is new staff experience was mixed experience.
Amenties- Top notched
General Manager-
This man is very kind and highly professional. For our every queries he had the best advises from Banarasi saree to local sightseeings all he managed very well.
Food:-
Chef Manish made our day right from the breakfast lunch and dinner it was superb with not so hotel hyped up rates.. the rates were genuine and taste was superb

It's a mystery hotel ...
Their Delux and super delux rooms are extremely small so much that you cant even open the door if you put a 3rd mattress
Couple of the staff at reception are extremely rude
They intended to charge more than the quoted price for loss of key and when I brought to their notice the they agreed to take less. They took cash for loss of key and there was no bill issued
Now comes the real issue..we lost our 5500 kept in room and when asked for video clips they politely refused saying they had already checked nd they found no one entering the room, leaving no option for me but to let it go as I did not want to create a scene with my parents and inlaws ( senior citizen) as they would be very scared.
It's quite far from temple and given there are so many options near the temple you can easily avoid this hotel unless you have some work at the convention centre and ok with all the issues I have mentioned
The only saving grace for them is good food but that also suffers bcos they are super short of staff. Also don't avail their breakfast as they have very limited option and the very basic bread toaster was not working well. Special mention of Subham who was single handedly managing all the guest in the restaurant with a smile always ..around 5 tables. You can imagine how much would be the wait time.
Their access road is short but narrow and unapproachable with sign board to show where is the hotel
