I was comfortable with it.
I wanted to see the night ritual, so I was very close to the hotel.

Terrible hotel with even worst staff.
Terrible experience with useless staff.
Booked this hotel for its close proximity with Assi Ghat and a promised Car Parking by reception priot to booking.
Ordeal started as we reached hotel. No dedicated parking with hotel, they encroach on neighbours parking space resulting in screaming neighbours and school guard (yes, this hotel faces a school).
Entire property has just one AC remote, you would need to call someone each time you want to switch on or off or change temperature. AC looks like sourced from a war zone, whole night you can enjoy someone playing drum inside AC. When complain to reception, they proudly claim that this is best they have.
No support or guidance from reception - they had Nad Nathaiya mela close to Ghat and their hotel road became like a chaos street, no advance notice from hotel, never told be of barricading by police 3Kms before. Had to park in some other hotels parking ok not to fetch car at night.
Attitude of staff is worst. Better to stay away if you are coming by your car.

Best hotel in varanasi in terms of food, room and services
Everything is good. Food was absolutely delicious. The room service was fast and the everyone are having friendly behaviour.
The room was clean and all the necessities were provided. One if planning to stay in varanasi should stay here. One of the advantage is the closeness to the tulsi ghat and assi ghat well as kashi vishwanath temple

Pathetic and Very Bad
Pathetic, Firstly even reaching after 2 pm , they made us wait for 30-45 min more for check in.The rooms were very small and was totally packed without windows or ventilations. They didn't provide us with AC Remote. We were suffocating in the room due to lack of air. We complained at the reception desk multiple times, still they didn't resolve the issue by saying that climate is of winter during February and there is no need for AC, also AC repairing is going on. However since I am knowledgeable person regarding electronic equipments, I knew that AC was ok and only required thing was AC remote to start it. But they denied providing us with the same. We also heard them speak that in such climate also they can't afford to have increased electricity bill due to running AC. They left us suffocating in the room without further resolution. Lastly we had to sleep with our door opened for full night so that fresh air could get in.
And in next morning, they started pressing us for check out at 10:20 am ie. 40 minutes prior to check out time by continuously calling us. And 15-20 minutes before check out ie. 10:40 am or 10:45 am, they started banging continuously on our door and left 2-3 boys standing at the door whose purpose was to keep on reminding that we need to get out of the room ASAP.
Totally disappointed with the services and staff behaviour. DO NOT RECOMMEND OR GO TO THIS HOTEL.
And in next morning, they started pressing us for check out at 10:20 am ie. 40 minutes prior to check out time by continuously calling us. And 15-20 minutes before check out ie. 10:40 am or 10:45 am, they started banging continuously on our door and left 2-3 boys standing at the door whose purpose was to keep on reminding that we need to get out of the room ASAP.

Our Varanasi trip
Overall excellent experience.
Travelled with family including senior citizens. Location of the hotel is very nice. I was anticipating issues related to AC or cleaning as I have been reading in various reviews. However, did not find any such issue during the visit. Rooms were very clean and also they were quick to respond to any ad hoc requests. AC was centrally operated with individual control panel in the room. Rooms are very well sized, and equipped with all required facilities like TV. Other basic amenities were provided without a fuss. Daily two bottle mineral water and change of towels/linen was done. We had included breakfast as part of the deal and the same has reasonable variety. Dinner we took ala-carte and the quality & taste of the food was very good.
There is some scope of adding more variety in the breakfast buffet. Also, they can improvise further by keeping the rooms ready before the check-in time.
Interacted with Mr Amit over phone to make direct booking. All staff is very helpful and cooperative.
