The Perfect Escape.
It’s been three years (mostly due to the Covid pandemic) since my last visit to this lovely cliff top hotel and I was delighted to return in November for a four week stay. They’ve extended the hotel upwards with another floor providing more rooms and giving guests a sea view as well as a beautiful panorama over the grounds. Another newly added attraction is the outdoor shower for guests to wash away sand from the beach below. The restaurant has been reroofed and I understand there are plans to offer a lunch and dinner menu in addition to the existing breakfast fare. A new chef has been appointed along with a new kitchen team. So lots of new changes. What hasn’t changed is the great friendly and professional service provided by the owner Shine, his excellent manager Mandéen and the happy smiling staff whose sole purpose appears to be to ensure you have an enjoyable stay. If you want a relaxing and peaceful break this is the place to be. As different from the busy and overcrowded North Cliff as night is to day.

A Nightmare Stay: Unwelcoming, Unprofessional, and Completely Inhospitable
Property and Hospitality:
This property is shockingly inhospitable. There is no provision for lunch or dinner, and the breakfast options are so limited they barely qualify as offerings. If you choose to order food from outside, be prepared to eat it in a shabby outdoor shack—regardless of whether it's scorching hot, unbearably humid, or dark. The area is infested with large ants and spiders crawling across the tables and floor, making the experience deeply unpleasant.
What’s worse, if you ask for basic utensils or plates, you're met with visible annoyance. The staff makes faces or flat-out refuses, as though providing a dish is a massive imposition.
The manager, in particular, runs the place like a surveillance zone—constantly watching guests and instructing staff to monitor and report every trivial action. Whether you're simply asking for a plate or returning one after cleaning it yourself, you're scrutinized as if you've broken a rule.
We arrived two hours before check-in, and although rooms were clearly available, they refused to let us in unless we paid for a full extra day. Instead, we were forced to sit in the sweltering shack for hours after a tiring journey. When we requested coffee, the staff declined—not out of unavailability, but because the manager had ordered them not to serve us after we refused to pay the early check-in charges. The message was loud and clear: if you're not paying extra, you don’t deserve basic courtesy.
Unprofessionalism:
The manager’s behavior was the final blow. He was openly drinking alcohol with a group of guests in broad daylight while we sat alone, trying to have lunch in the same shack. The atmosphere was uncomfortable and unsettling, and the blatant lack of professionalism was appalling.
This was, hands down, one of the worst hospitality experiences I've ever had. Avoid this property if you value respect, cleanliness, or even basic human decency.

Thank you for your feedback. However, none of the things stated got a glimpse of truth.
First of all, there is no check in / check out details of the guest to verify this is a genuine customer. Secondly our hotel holds the status of B&B, hence we provide only bed and breakfast (so there is no value of the point for lunch/dinner options).
Moreover, we give all the information before taking the bookings including our hotel policies/services (In hotel policies, it is clearly mentioned that any kind of food is not allowed inside the room/room premises).
We are not inviting customer who are not interested follow our hotel policies.
Regarding early check-in, our property holds the right to provide early check-in for our guest with reasonable charge.
However, charges are variable according to the no: of hours and not for free.
We can understand the above review came from the fact that the guest got denied of free early check-in and sorry we are helpless.

Not a place to be in on a vacation. No clarity in hotel rules prior to arrival. Arrogant and unruly owner.
This property fools people by not communicating the real scenario. No food snacks, milk, juice allowed to room, no car parks for more than 2-3 guests, WiFi is very poor, no toiletries provided, no restaurant attached (need to order food from out every single time), breakfast is very simple with only one or two dishes, additional charges of 500 for even new born babies. Over and above this resort has caused trouble to multiple tourists in the past, I have personally seen police come and resolve fights. Staff and management were seeing abusing and treating to beat up guests.

Good position, good value
Light airy , the large rooms with a view of the sea very relaxing to be in in the heat of the day.
Excellent manager and cleaning staff, beds firm but not uncomfortable, beautiful cotton linen.
Breakfast is standard rather than excellent, but there’s always Soul and surf for breakfast.
Access to beach good via well maintained steps.

A gem that needs to be experienced
This resort is on a cliff with a sweeping lawn to the sea with the most spectacular view. Perfect for those romantic sunsets. We had a lovely "sitting out" area (private) with views out to the Arabian Sea across the lovely gardens. The staff are lovely and friendly. Strongly recommended
