Raj towers : Very accessible to Bus stand, Railway station and Shopping

Raj Towers was one of the best and popular hotel for several years. Still able to maintain the quality for several decades. They are have restraunt, hotel rooms. But you may feel noise during the day. The hotel is very close to Bus stand and Railway station. Movie theatre Apsara Apsara is a and shopping area are also very close to the hotel.

fish market bar

I went with a friend to this hotel and visited their bar named speed. True to its name it is speed. We saw some people shouting and cursing every one in the bar. One of the guys in this gang who wore a lungi all of a sudden opened his lungi and started walking naked. We were shocked and couldn't stay for another drink. When inquired the staff said there is a CCTV camera trough which the management and owners watch whats going on here but never bothers to warn them because they are money minded. They further said these people carryout this nonsense up to the parking place sometimes causing nuisance to everyone. They have another bar adjacent to this named Hi speed which is meant for lower standard. The rickshaw pullers and auto wallahs come and drink. Believe me this is far better than the bar meant for upper standard. The staff say the owner's son is very high educated but never bothers about the ruckus that goes in the bar. Good riddance we came out of the bar very soon. HOPE THE THE MANAGEMENT AND OWNERS TAKE A LOOK AT THE CCTV FOOTAGE CLEARLY WHAT WENT IN THE BAR IN-BETWEEN 7.30PM AND 8.30PM ON 10 FEB 2021 CLEARLY INSTEAD OF RUSHES. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND EVEN AN ENEMY TO GO THAT HOTEL TO STAY OR BAR TO DRINK AS THIS BAR ENTRANCE IS NEAR THE PARKING AND ENTRANCE OF THE HOTEL.

Raj Towers Restaurant is average

I have visited Raj towers restaurant for the dinner.
Restaurant ambience is good but need some maintenance to the sofas and rest rooms.
Food quality is OK. But prices are little bit higher.
The place of this restaurant is in a market place. So, the area is crowded always

Awfully dirty and badly managed

So here is the hotel where towels were last changed some ages ago. They are badly worn out, poorly washed and have strange odour.
Bedsheets and blanket covers are changed on request only even if you are new guest in the room. Even after changing you might end up getting a torn and stained one because they perhaps haven't Bought a new linen in ages. About the pillow covers, lesser said the better.
Table top was sticky and unclean and doesn't figure in the cleaning manual of the hotel staff.
Am wondering with such nice property and large sized rooms they could have done wonders. However, they end up providing a completely low quality service at a princely price of Rs. 2600 Per night which is way more than any hotel of this kind should charge.

Worth for money...

This is our second visit to this hotel.. Convenient to railway station, bus stand and Kanaka Durga temple.. We stayed in 406 & 408 during our visit to KanakaDurga temple during Navarathri..
Rooms are spacious and clean.. bathrooms also good..
Specially they are allowing 24hr checkout.. Staff are very helpful..
Food is very tasty..Complementary breakfast with wide south indian varieties.. tasty Andhra meals...
Overall very good food...
We booked through Makemy Trip..
Worth for money.....
