Jungle experience :)
This small resort is located in small village in the middle of the jungle just walking distance from Crystal bay beach. Rooms are very spacious, clean with big bath room and terrace where you can sit and enjoy surroundings. In front of the rooms is pool, good for water activities for kids.
Staff is very friendly and helpful. They can arrange for you scooters or tour around the islands spots. Special thanks to Don, who took us for one day tour around the island with his car.
The food in restaurant was fine, surprisingly with many options on the menu. Mostly local or simple dishes. They have limited options of alcoholic drinks like beer or some white or red white etc.
This resort accept card payments which is great as you don't need to carry too much cash around here because there is just few ATMs in the island.

Overpriced
My husband and I arrived at the address and a staff member said ‘same place as Crystal Bay’. They had our names and booking and explained that they had new management and now called Astiti. They insisted that we paid 3 nights in advance, which we did.
We later searched online and found prices for Astiti to be far less than we had paid. Booking.com responded by providing partial refund.
In terms of our experience;
The menu is quite limited as is the choice of alcoholic drinks (beer or beer), even though the menu offers wine, gin, whiskey. I was told that they weren’t available so asked if they could get some gin for the following night. The reply was simply ‘no’. No explanation. We ate elsewhere for the other two nights and enjoyed cocktails so I can’t see any reason why they couldn’t have provided more choice.
The Astiti calls itself a spa- not true, no sign of any spa. Like most hotels in that area they have a spa menu in the bedroom and if you want anything they telephone someone from the local village.
No water provided in the room and no comfy chairs for the terrace outside the room.
The rooms are spacious with large bathroom with a bath, not a hot tub, as advertised. There are no robes/slippers or hair dryer, also as advertised.
In the surrounding area there is a lot of building work going on (like most of the island).
