Do not recommend
I could say several things about this place but I would have been willing to overlook all of them had I been charged correctly. It started with a mistake on the part of my travel brain, thinking it was the previous day than it actually was. For some reason their website let me book a room for the previous night, as well as the current night. Since I chose to pay at the hotel I thought this would be a simple fix. The service was a far cry from the hospitality I had become accustomed to in Bali. Every staff member i interacted with was a teenager. When I arrived they didn’t have record of my booking even though I had a confirmation email. They said I was the first to ever book through their website. Luckily they had a room because I had just traveled 2 hours to get there. It wasn’t a deluxe room like I had tried to book but I was fine with that. I was also told I could check out in the evening the next day. My understanding was they were offering this since they didn’t have my booking. When it came time to check out they had the originally quoted price of 935K on my bill. I had to explain that that was the cost of 2 nights in a deluxe room and I stayed 1 night in a standard room. I showed them their website listing for the standard room with the price of 367.500K. Somehow the girl decided my new total was 650K because I checked in late and was checking out late. I asked what time late check in was, she said midnight, I said I got there at 7 pm, and I thought I had been offered late check out. After much back and forth I finally just agreed to pay 600K, and I thought she said she would exclude my 35K dinner but then she added that back in too, and with the credit card charge it came back to 650K. I still don’t know how she got to that price. Even the single night price for a deluxe room (which I DIDN’T stay in) was 467.500K + 100K for late check out… I guess she rounded up. I feel like I got played, and not even for a nice place. 2 stars is generous.

Not the best experience here, they tried to over charge us for laundry, it is already expensive at 25k a KG ( normally 10-15k ). They initially tried to charge us 230k saying we had over 10kg total ( we had under 6kg as had previously weighed it ), I asked them to weigh it again and they immediately said sorry we can do it for 150k.
I paid extra when booking for breakfast to be included, but when we went for breakfast they argued that is wasn’t included, I showed them my booking and they agreed to include it, but then didn’t give us our included fruit 🤷♂️, the next morning I asked for it and was given it.
Food was okay but small portions, view from the seating platform overlooking the lake was great, and the room itself was fine, I just got the impression they were trying to take advantage of tourists by overcharging on things etc…

Good location with beautiful view for the lake.Nice internal garden with pool. But no sound proof from the doors, you can hear everything your neighbours do in the garden

Not for me
The rooms are very very dark because of the dark wood & dark brick. Lack of lights do not help. We literally had to get clothes out by torch light. We did have a bulb out that they replaced the following day promptly
Bathroom had an awful smell like cat pee and was constantly damp. Towels were damp as was toilet paper.
Shower had no pressure to get soap out of your hair.
Room was not cleaned to a high standard at all.
Dirt and dust behind tv and mirror dirty.
The pool I honestly thought was a pond it was pretty grim.
Wi-Fi or signal non existent in room.
It’s a shame. Just a lick of white paint all over dark wood would transform the little villas.
No air con or even ceiling fan
No fridge for water
I wouldn’t recommend if I’m honest unless you are backpacking cheaply around.
It’s a cheap hotel and that’s what you get. However the staff were very helpful and super friendly.
