Stunning view, creative cabins and wonderful peace and quiet
This was such a lovely, wonderful place! If you are planning to stay in that particular area I 100% recommend this campsite. It was not a typical AirBnB but more a glamping/ hotel bungalow-style as you see a lot on Bali. Staff was enormously friendly and very helpful.
Mostly I just loved the looks of the place. The little bungalows were so nice and creatively put together! The shower was super hot (which was nice and necessary, it tends to get cold up there - make sure to bring warm sweater/ sweatpants and good pyjamas). There were tree huts which allowed you to lounge while sort of hanging over the valley below - the views are stunning - and a super nice winding path around the area.
For me as someone who was not expecting the type of tourism on Bali I was so happy to stay here for a couple of days and really feel calm, quiet and one with the natural surroundings.
Do make sure you get your own transport, either a car or scooter. I came relying on taxis and that was not a good idea for the area - there isn't any grab or similar services and taxis are expensive. Most of the places I ended up visiting would have been smarter to do from Ubud on a tour as I had not learned how to drive a scooter or just hired a car.

Wanagiri Campsite is truly amazing.
All staffs and manager are very helpful and friendly. They are always smiling. Guest service is TOP!!
The location of the hotel is really quite accessible. The view is fascinating and fantastic.
The rooms is spotlessly clean. Bed is comfortable. They made a wonderful room decoration for us.
They have parking place and all hotel around is very safety.
There is a small restaurant in the hotel and we ordered chicken steak for dinner. They had a special delivery to our room. The food was really delicious. Prices at the restaurant are quite reasonable.
The restaurant serves free tea and coffee and it is unlimited!!
We had a great time here. And we will definitely come back again!

Wanagiri heaven
Amazing place, would 1000% recommend! Incredible views, 5 star food and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, made the stay even better! Free Wi-Fi, cosy cabins and great facilities! Will definitely look to come back in the future!

Amazing place and super staff
The campsite is very special and located in a spot on the hill with an amazing view! The staff is super friendly and always available to help with everything. They have a really good team that can organize for you nice activities. We highly recommend it! :)

Esperienza particolare
Partiamo col presupposto che è un "campo", quindi non c'è da aspettarsi un hotel. La camera è 3 metri x 3 metri ed ha solo il letto ed un comodino. Interamente in legno è poco isolata dall'esterno ma nonostante sia in montagna si sta bene di notte. Ha 2 prese da 220v. Il bagno è in comune (ce ne sono 2) ed ha la doccia con acqua calda (riscaldata a gas, no boiler). Noi non abbiamo mai avuto problemi a trovarli entrambi liberi e comunque trovati sempre puliti. La vista è fantastica, sulla giungla pura!!! La posizione è buona ma organizzatevi in anticipo con lo scooter perchè la struttura non ne aveva per noi appena arrivati così abbiamo camminato 8 km per andare a ritirarne uno.
In conclusione non è un posto per gente schizzinosa e l'esperienza ne vale la pena.
