Breakfast was ok, room was small but clean. Everything seems to be well maintained.

Clean but Needs Major Upgrades
Nothing about this hotel really stood out as wonderful. The room was clean, but the entire property definitely needs an upgrade, from the facilities to the overall look and feel. Breakfast was included, but unfortunately the food didn’t look fresh, which was disappointing.
The staff were friendly, but the service itself needs improvement. A bit of proper service training would make a big difference in guest experience.
Overall, it was okay‑ish for a short stay, but I wouldn’t choose it again unless improvements are made.

Great value for Nusa dua
When reading reviews keep in mind cost vs location .
BRR is a well priced hotel, in a top location, beachfront , but is in need of a renovation . If you prefer fancy hotels this is not for you, if you like clean comfortable hotels at a rate that allows you to have fun then this is a great option .
We paid for pool view rooms and pleased we did this . Other rooms have no decks, or no view, or just bad location .
Wheelchair access is not good . There is an elevator, but due to strange design , you need to walk up steps to access the lift that will take you to ground floor/pool deck or level 2/3/4.
pool view rooms do the job. It’s clean and had a good feel to it. I did sleep with the deck door ajar as I personally don’t like ac on at night and found this one to be a little noisey . The bathrooms have limited toiletries , are dated, and have very ordinary shampoo . We had for friends in four rooms and everyone mentioned the shampoo as being terrible , hair felt more dirty than when washed .
Pool deck is incredible and if up early you can see the sunrise from here or the beach . The beach itself is clean and a nice place to relax , once the sun is up it gets very hot! The beach water itself is brown, safe to swim in but just not beautiful blue you may expect . I did go beach swimming .
Breakfast buffet is adequate. Not much options but dues the job and again consider how much you are paying for a Nusa dua location . Lunch and dinner are good .
We did buy the extras option, this was only worth it to get the half price massage , 45 foot run down to 175 rupiah… excellent massage too .the free mini bar is literally one coke and one sprite , not worth it . . A small 10% off meals otherwise . And laundry is cheap across the road at 20 rupiah per kilo.
I would stay here again, unlike this sort of hotel I would like the breakfast to be a little bigger though .

Wouldn’t book again. Go somewhere else.
We had room with air con dripping & was a safety concern as I almost slipped over. Down the hall 2 rooms of families letting kids run laps in and out of the joining rooms - as we were just wanting to relax after a long day - we asked to swap to quiet/relaxing room. After a bit of debate we swapped, in new room we noticed air con not cold but thought it had just turned on, so being exhausted we went to dinner and back to room hopeful air con would come good. Glad to have air con and seem ok I went to shower and I couldn’t bring myself to use it. So filthy with mould. I went to bed - I could smell a musty /mould like smell from air con but being exhausted I wanted nothing more than to get some rest. I regretted staying in this hotel. Or may be it was that room I don’t know but didn’t want o change - AGAIN.
Had the worst headache and sorest throat when I woke up & had a terrible sleep, tried to sleep with cloth over my head / face to block out smell.
We hoped that if we were to turn air con off it would be ok but room still had musty smell. Went for a small walk but felt terrible. Hubby stated he felt hung over - despite not drinking at all the day or night before.
Back to room to be in cool to help, but couldn’t stand to be in room any longer so went to pool for a bit. Wasn’t as relaxing as I expected. Was also told can’t take towels back to room so I had to walk back in wet bikini.
Couldn’t wait to get out of the place and ended our stay earlier than usual and booked a different hotel!

A hidden gem - don’t tell your friends!
This place is fabulous. It is cheap and cheerful, the pool is heuuuge and never crowded. Beaches in Melbourne are far more polluted than this one - and it’s actually the hotel next door that doesn’t clear up its rubbish- the BRR side is clean sand. Buffet Brekky has lots of variety that keeps changing. $5 taxi into nusa dua resorts where the dining prices double and triple. Outside of Bali Relaxing Resort are a diverse range of great eateries and many willing drivers who are heaps cheaper than the Nusa resort drivers. We stayed here in peak holiday season and other guests would disappear on day trips so it was really quiet. This is not as busy as Kuta, not as expensive as Nusa Dua resorts but great for families who aren’t mega wealthy. My 17 and 19 year old boys thought it was great. The rooms are fine but I didn’t come to Bali to stay in my room!!! I could have stayed in cold Melbourne for that!
