Small typical hotel

We came to this hotel by chance because the one we had basic was absolutely not correct.
We are 3 adults (1 couple + daughter) we had a very large room with king size bed +++. Beautiful typical Bali decoration with pool. Wooden deckchair with mattresses and towels available .about twenty rooms .it is located away from the bustle of ubud in the middle of vegetation . The staff is very helpful. The food is excellent with Balinese dishes revisited (without too many chili peppers). Breakfast is very good too.
Little flat. Despite the location the road noise is really present in the rooms upstairs.

Lovely but not for everyone

I think 4 stars rating for the those facilities is generous. It should be a 3 stars. The pool and the staff are lovely but the hotel is poorly located and limited amenities. I loved the outside rain shower. The shower inside was not clean. Lots of roosters and chickens behind the hotel, I did not mind it but they will wake you up at dawn.
The neighborhood is not walkable (no sidewalks) and the hotel is far from downtown Ubud.
Great place if you are looking for a relaxing retreat but not for families or party goers.

What to do if you like small, charming hotels

Very well received. Small charming hotel. 15 minutes drive from central Ubud.
Beautiful swimming pool with beautiful decoration.
Simple but efficient restaurant.
Continental breakfast with not much choice, more savory than sweet.
Staff who offer and re-offer activities such as quad biking and rafting every day.
Downside: repeated calls every morning to find out if we are having breakfast while it is still open.
The room is beautiful, you shouldn't expect cleanliness like in France but for here it's OK.
It is indicated in the hotel description that the rooms have safes but this is not the case in all rooms.

Beautiful.

Beautiful hotel, neat and clean room, super spacious bathroom with shower and a second shower outside, magical!
Breakfast and dinner by the pool, great!
Small quiet corner in a busy city!
Really helpful staff
