Such a lovely place to stay in Ubud. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, the grounds were beautiful and peaceful, and the whole place felt just like I was in Bali.
Not to far from Ubud shopping.
I am looking forward to staying here again in September.

A true paradise

A true paradise outside the tourist hustle and bustle of Ubud. The small hotel (9 rooms) is run by Narok and his family, who are so kind. Very nice, authentically decorated rooms, Sue's cooking skills unbeatable! And the good god Vishnu watches over the well-being of the guests. Absolute recommendation.

Near to Ubud but not in central Ubud, requires a 10 to 15 minute drive or scooter ride out to get to the hotel. No car parking at the hotel but there's an open spot outside the hotel on the road and some open space across the road on an open field. Motorcycles can park in the compound.
Proprietor / owner is very friendly and easy going. Hotel isn't in the best condition anymore and some basic refurbishment or major cleaning would help it's image.
Cleanliness could be improved, floors are slightly dusty but overall not bad.

For the price and serenity, this place is worth a look. It feels new-ish with "brave" rock and cement based architecture. Rooms aren't many, but are really nice, and reflect the photos. No f&b or bar or gym...a small pool that's more form over function. But nevertheless, it stands out as a bit of a hidden gem in the environs of Ubud.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Clean large room with a comfortable bed. Bathroom was massive! Very pleasant stay
Staff: very welcoming and helpful.
Location: approximately 1 hour walk from Ubud Central or a supposedly 20minute taxi ride (traffic is terrible). Probably best to rent a motorcycle.
Would stay again 👍🏻
