Fabulois Christmas time

Fabulous family resort. The service, food, cleanliness was very good. Lots of activities for the youth. Great location. Most rooms are waterfront even the garden lofts. we stayed for Christmas, they organised a lovely dinner for the guests. overall a great place to be, good value for money, we strongly recommended .

Spacious Rooms, Courteous Staff, but Amenities and Pricing Disappoint

Mayang Sari Resort, Bintan (Stayed: 16–18 Feb 2026)
The rooms are spacious, well-designed, and feature high ceilings. Staff members are courteous and helpful, which made the stay pleasant in terms of service.
However, several aspects were disappointing:
• No swimming pool within the resort.
• The beach is not suitable for walking or bathing, with tar visible in the sand and water.
• On-site minimart prices are extremely inflated (15–20x higher than local markets).
• The only Indian restaurant, Spice, is very expensive.
• Shuttle bus service to swimming or recreational areas was unsatisfactory.
Overall: Comfortable rooms and polite staff, but the lack of accessible amenities, overpriced facilities, and poor shuttle service make the resort less appealing for a relaxing holiday.

Room aircon had issues. but settled immediately. Food price is high. service is excellent.

I love the stay so much! The staffs were all very friendly and helpful. The room was right in front of the beach and I could hear the wave sound the whole day/night. The room was pretty clean and the food was great too. Will definitely come back again!

The hotel is part of a bigger resort property. The hotel location is good and the staff service attitude is great. However, the quality of the foods served in the restaurants are not good. The goods sold in the Happy Marts inside the resort property are extremely overpriced which are 3 to 4 times more expensive than in Singapore. Further, the gym in the Recreation Centre has a very strong mouldy smell. The quality of the SPA is not good. The technique of the masseurs should be improved. Also, the air-conditioner in the massage room is broken. Not worth to have any SPA treatment there.
