Mixed Experience

I have a mixed experience with this place. First of all, there was a parking ticket to go to the hotel; a one time payment with stamp from the receptionist. I find it kind of odd with this system. The worst of all might be the services from almost every staffs starting from the hotel staffs to theme park staffs. Most of them weren't nice at all when we need some kind of help or just simply information. The room of the hotel was spacious and I was kind of like with the overall floorplan except for the bathroom layout. Unfortunately, most of the furniture inside were kind of bad; not properly maintained and kind of dangerous for toddlers. Their hygiene standard were definitely not a-5-star; probably just 3 out 5. So don't waste your time arguing in regards to any cleanliness. Facilities were a lot, but most of them were badly maintained nor cleaned. Open space in the area were not strictly smoking free. For me, it's weird for children friendly area. I don't have any experience with the breakfast, so I won't make any comments. Theme park was okay and some them were broken and getting fixed by the time we visited it. Overall experience is pretty good with some negative note.

Hotel with easy access to tourist attractions in Batu Malang

The view is very beautiful, try the room on a high level to get a beautiful view. Rooms are clean, every room has its theme. The ornament and aesthetics of this hotel are unique and interesting. The hotel is combined with the tourist attractions next to it, which saves time and money when visiting. Recommended for a family picnic. I stayed here as part of the international seminar Horticulture (1st IHS 2025).

A child-friendly hotel that must be accommodated

Just this time we went to the hotel with a rental car that just dropped in the lobby but was still required to pay 10rb when entering the hotel. Please rethink its policy, maybe gpp parking is yes (although another hotel with the same star is free parking), but it's just a lot of passengers have to pay 10rb.
Staff in FO/CS are less friendly and less informative. We arrived at 12 noon and check-in time at 3:00, when it was 3 - 4 pm we should always ask if the room was ready or not up to 2 times. Related to space, the staff did not offer an option to choose a room with any empty theme, impressed by giving themes: "The room is African-themed yes". When we asked if we could change the room theme and any empty ones? Because it's just a coincidence that our son doesn't like the African theme, it also responded to his FO/CS with a non-friendly face and impressed angry.
The waiting room happened to be being renovated, but dust is flooding everywhere so it's very uncomfortable, unlike other hotels where the renovation has a cover to minimize dust nowhere. The condition is very uncomfortable for a remote guest who wants to rest for a moment while waiting for check-in. We finally had to walk to the dino mall despite being tired.
The children's playground is less clean and dark, making children uncomfortable playing when it rains. The playground floor is very sticky somehow.
The bathroom and women's toilet area swimming pool very stinking.
Rooms and house keeping are fine. House keeping is already responsive. The ninja adventure staff is also fine.
For a less varied breakfast menu (compared to the same price and stars of other hotels in Batu). During the stay, I bought a breakfast package for my child and it turned out that the menu was served only fried rice, bread & pancake, fruit, fruit (pepaya & melon) and indomie, chicken flour. The staff of the pancakes department asks forgiveness while we're just asking if there's any honey available to topp his pancakes.
The CS/Guest Service room is very unresponsive. We once picked up from theme room 303 and asked for a plastic crêche, no response until check-out. It's normal for any hotel to have plastic for the laundry, but there's no plastic crêche at all at this hotel.
Hair dryer in room 303 is not working and conslet, we've already called into the CS/GS section but also no response. Apparently this hotel needs to train its staff to be more friendly and responsive.
Related maintenance of hotel facilities also need to be taken into account such as playground etc. Don't let the hotel's name be "smile" but the guest will be a manyun Hope you can get along.

Increase the cleanliness and hygiene

This hotel have many facilities. Gym, sauna, swimming pool, playground, mini golf, mini basketball court, mini football court, tabble tennis, mini library, even they provide swimming equipment such as float board. Unfortunately, we got room with some bug. Luckily we know it before going to bed. After that they checked and changed our room. But, it's strange the 1st room we got was bigger than the 2nd. At least no bug.
For information this hotel located near Jatim Park 3 so you need to pay parking fee 1x and do not lose the ticket. You can used it during stay.
And thank you for the dyno hampers
