We have stayed at this hotel multiple times over the past 10 years as it is great value for money.
We love the location and the roof top swimming pool is fabulous especially as it is never crowded, we are often the only ones there, perfect 👍
The downsides are that if you get a non-balcony room on the street side it is very noisy until about 10:30pm from the bars in the street, the balcony rooms do not have this problem but they are much smaller with a smaller bed, and are slightly more expensive.
The hotel is feeling a little tired. The pool loungers have been been slowly breaking over several years and the cushions disappeared years ago so they are not that comfortable.
The air conditioning is very noisy and only just cools the room to a comfortable temperature if you run it 24hrs a day, these definitely need replacing.
The breakfast options sound great but the quality is just ok, the muesli option was unavailable the entire week we were there, again not too bad for what you pay.
We will definitely stay here again and hopefully the hotel will do some much need upgrades in the near future.

Property generally very average. We had booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. One room a/c barely worked and 2nd room didn't work at all. Requested to move rooms at 8.30am and by 4.30pm we were still waiting. Rooms has also still to be serviced by that time as will. Finally showed us a new room - it was cooler in the corridor than in the room. We moved to another hotel, just down the road - it was far better. We are still waiting for our refund after just over 2 weeks.

Love that rooftop pool..wish they had the towels already there for us without asking.
Love tte rooms and using a room key.
Reception staff could speak more English.
Wish restaurant menu had healthier choices. Wish the elevator did not have that perfume smell.
Still a good value all around and is my go to choice. All staff very kind and friendly.

Once I arrived (2 am ) I was greeted with a staff member telling me that my room had been sold so I had to find another hotel!
I then had to walk the streets finding another hotel. I then had to sort out the refund process the next day for 3 hours which the manage then simply walked off didn’t even. Apologie! I’m writing this as a warning, I have since had confirmation 8 days later I am getting a refund from my constant messages but not good practice
Would avoid!
