Very nice hotel

The hotel was simple but clean,, there are rom with aircon and non aircon,, my rom was with aircond ,, is very close to everything,, bank,, mall and place to eat,, central park just 5 min ,, you can find anything you need,,, just dont back to hotel after midtnight ,because, the staff are sleeping and the main gate is closed :)

Don't stay here

I had reserved a basic room through Expedia, but didn't realize that a basic room would have a bathroom without a shower. I had to upgrade, but the resulting expense was comparable or more than a nicer room at a better hotel. Even there they charge 2 $ for a Wifi for 4 hours, and the code they give can only be used at one machine at a time. The Wifi was really slow. Yet I got decent speed and free Wifi at a cafe nearby and also another one near Candi Singosari, a much smaller place than Malang. Even in the upgraded room the bathroom basin was leaking. A breakfast isn't included for the upgraded room, the hotel only offers coffee or tea at breakfast time and refused me a glass of milk I requested instead of tea or coffee. They arranged a car which charged me 850000 Indonesian Rupiah for local sight seeing, Singosari temples and onward journey to Cemuru Lawang. I haven't compared prices elsewhere but the price seems high given the prices I got for cars elsewhere. All in all there would be better options in Malang

Bad price from online booking

Never booking this place from pegipegi.com the price are just overrated there, but it's a good place for just stay 1 night and I also surprise that you need handle your ID card in reception for check in and you will get it back after checkout. You get what you pay but I suggest you walk more and find a mother hotel near this hotel

pretty good

I stayed there during high season (Christmas), at the first night, it was so quiet, but the next two days, it seems like 10 families with children all came, and we can hear the children are crying and everything. and since in front of every room they provide chairs, so the people could talk but it actually quite disturbing because of the echo.
they do not provide breakfast nor towel, but surprisingly, the private bathroom are soooo clean, the water is fresh and not too cold, so even though they do not have water heater and shower, we love the bathroom. oh ya, they also have the shared bathroom.
I think the noise is not because of the hotel, but because of typical guests. because before 24 december, the hotel is sooo quiet and good. the staff are helpful.
if you want to go for breakfast, this hotel is really close to Gloria Cwie Mie (the noodles are delicious!), or Hok Lay Depot (the spring roll were awesome) with a cheap price!

Very basic rooms no air con. No hot water no towels no nothing but the location is great near everything the hotel is just clean the staff are good you have to pay for Wi-FI but the price is right if you want more you have to go in 3or4 star hotel but for 1or2 night it s ok
