FloW Gathering at Kaliurang Jogja

Strategic location, clean rooms, staff and service very satisfying. The full board meeting for 1 day plus the fire can run very well, requests from us can be fulfilled, plus can get a bonus refreshment on the fire. Thank you Mr. Urip and all staff for being very helpful

Nice view, but the room is not that nice

I booked the room with forest view. The ambience is good, fresh nice air, tranquil sounds of birds and breeze. I can enjoy the atmosphere by sitting in the front porch of my room. But the room facilities are just ok. The hot water is not stable, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. It's kinda annoying. The WiFi is slow and from my room, it only has very little signal. The breakfast is not that good.

Recently renovated

We stayed here for four nights. Has been renovated recently. Clean. New furnishings. Great view of hills and greenery. Peaceful.
On Saturday night several other low cost villas in the area had a large number of guests (public holiday) and it was quite noisy with their music and a band across the street. It probably would be very quite if you stay here when it's not a public holiday.
Staff very helpful. Restaurants provides meals and room service. Food (just Indonesian food) is very affordable and decent flavor.
Seems to be one of the more clean and tidy small hotels in Kaliurang.
We stayed in the cottage (3 rooms plus a dining room and living room). It was very nice for a small meeting we had.
Hotel also has a medium sized meeting hall on second level of their main building. Good for meetings and events.

We chose to stay here as Kaliurang is a mountain town and we wanted to see Mount Merapi, the still rumbly and very active mountain in Java. The Puri Indah Inn wasn't our first accommodation choice but as it was peak season (as well as being the Ramadan holiday), this was one of the only available options.
The photos do the Inn justice to be honest with it appearing much more rundown in the flesh than what can be observed in the photos. On arrival, we found that our sheets were damp so had to get those replaced. Then we requested more tea and coffee satchets which were declined and then the kitchen staff were away at the market at around dinner time. Note that the staff don't speak English and my Indonesian is fairly non-existant. This somewhat added to the fwhole experience I think.
Despite these minor inconveniences, I would recommend staying here as I liked the location high in the mountain, the walk to the village and the monkeys which visited the Inn regularly each day. I think these things, together with the cost (it was cheap) far outweighed the negatives. And I got to see Mount Merapi too!

Kebersihan kamar oke. Fasilitas kurang sikat gigi & pasta gigi. Receiptionist ramah. Banyak monyet yg menjdi cirrikhas, tapi petugas beberapa kali membantu mengusir monyet.
