We have been fortunate to stay in many of the world’s finest hotels over the years, including Ritz-Carlton, Four Seasons, Conrad, Banyan Tree, Jumeirah, Atlantis Dubai, One&Only, and many other luxury resorts across the Maldives, Koh Samui, Seychelles, and beyond.
With that experience in mind, we can honestly say that The Edge has become one of our absolute favorite hotels anywhere in the world.
What makes The Edge so special isn’t just the luxury—it’s the atmosphere. The hotel is intimate rather than oversized, surrounded by breathtaking nature, with spectacular ocean views that make every moment feel peaceful and exclusive.
Our two-bedroom villa was exceptional: incredibly spacious, with large bedrooms, a beautiful open-plan living room and kitchen, a huge private outdoor area, and an amazing private pool. Everything felt thoughtfully designed and exceptionally comfortable.
The main infinity pool is one of the most beautiful we’ve ever seen, especially with its famous glass-bottom section overlooking the ocean. We also loved the pool bar—the music selection was modern, stylish, and created the perfect atmosphere to relax throughout the day.
What truly sets The Edge apart, however, is the service.
From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. The hotel kindly allowed us to check in earlier than scheduled and also gave us a complimentary late check-out, which we greatly appreciated.
A very special thank you goes to our butler, Edy. He is, without question, one of the best butlers we have ever had. Throughout our entire stay, he was always smiling, incredibly professional, attentive, and proactive. He arranged all of our reservations, drove us around the property whenever needed, delivered meals, and made every request effortless. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and he consistently exceeded our expectations. Edy truly made our stay unforgettable.
We traveled as two couples, and by the time we left, we were already planning our return—next time with an even larger group of friends.
Considering the level of luxury, privacy, villa size, and service, The Edge offers outstanding value. In our opinion, it surpasses many resorts that charge significantly more. We’ve stayed at properties where the villas were much smaller, the service was disappointing, or the overall experience simply didn’t justify the price. The Edge delivers on every level.
Thank you to the entire team for creating such a memorable experience. We cannot wait to come back, and we will happily recommend The Edge to everyone looking for a truly exceptional luxury escape.

Above the top
The location, view, service, food is top at this price, your expectation is much higher. If you are looking at this review, you know what you are looking for. Too many 5 stars hotels in Bali and this one stands out. You will see many hourly customers but not overnight. There were a few loud hourly customers and hope they can reinforce it's a quiet resort. I am hoping they can update some hardware like door handles, faucets, add more security cameras with facial recognition, smart AI systems like AC and adjust the room temperatures automatically. For young generations and long term investment, they are looking for security, safety and tech convenience.

We had an amazing time at The Edge. Blew us away. Quality of service, food, the villa size and space, the pools, EVERYTHING. The facilities are exceptional and we ended up cancelling our booked activities so that we could make the most of our 4 day stay at The Edge. We will be back!

An experience that only happens once in a lifetime
He is the best butler. His name is Deddy. He took such good care of me, and if I had money, I would want to stay for forever. This place is so beautiful. We recommend staying for at least 3 days.

Exceptional!
We had a wonderful stay, largely thanks to the exceptional service provided by Padma. As a butler, Padma went above and beyond—showing incredible patience, attention to detail, and even helping us capture great photos. The service throughout our stay was completely seamless, and the room was beautiful. Thank you for making our stay so memorable!
