Excellent

We stay at this hotel often and the rooms are always great. On our most recent visit, we brought the whole family along. Being Australian, the language barrier can sometimes be a bit challenging with staff, but we’ve gotten to know Reschel, the hotel photographer, who always makes things so much easier for us. He helps with translations and gives great suggestions on places to visit. He’s a big reason we continue to stay at the Alvina Hotel — a real asset when it comes to assisting foreign guests.

Staff need training in dealing with guests as being special and responsible for paying their wages. Pushing past guests to enter a lift as staff member is simply rude! Some staff such as security out front excellent. Breakfast I don't even bother with as they can't even provide milk for a coffee let alone anything decent to eat!

Alvina Hotel & Cafe is one of the best budget hotel in Pematang Siantar city. It is located at the Megaland complex, which is around 5 minutes drive away from the city center. It is a modern hotel that is equipped with cafe on the ground floor, meeting room and rooftop restaurant. Within walking distance from the hotel, there are housing complex, business centres, restaurant, etc.
Room rate was still affordable. The Standard Room was quite cramped. The room came with air conditioning, TV set, in house telephone, in room dining, mineral water, hot and cold water shower. Free WiFi was available at the room and the speed was not bad.The bed comfiness was just so so. Free simple buffet breakfast was provided for all in house guests. Taste of the food was good. Breakfast spread was consisted of rice with dishes, fried rice, fried noodle, toast, porridge, slice fruit, traditional cakes, tea and coffee.
The hotel staff's hospitality was not bad. Parking was provided at the road side in front of the hotel.

EXTRA BED LAMA IN THE CAMP

Hotel service is poor.
Not friendly.
Extrabed is not in process when guests enter the room, with the reason of changing the OB shift
OB only 1 with this big hotel.
Please upgrade the service back to the next day so that no consumer ad disappointed, including me and my business friend.
