Beyond amazing

We were a group of 14 friends and family celebrating a 40th birthday. I couldn't have imagined a more relaxing and luxurious experience. Staff were so caring and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. And the villa itself was exquisite. Rooms were all beautifully designed. Individual and aesthetically gorgeous. All our needs were catered for with smiles and grace. Book this place if you're looking for a proper luxury getaway with your nearest and dearest. Highly recommend!

This villa is dirty and falling into disrepair. AVOID!!!!

Dirty villa. The villa is dilapidated and dirty. It is literally falling apart.
There are 3 swimming pools and the main pool was out of commission during our stay. When it was finally available we got rashes from swimming in it. Seems that this is a common problem as other reviews have experienced the same.
Wooden deck has nails sticking out and dangerous to walk on. Missing planks.
Rooms and kitchen are dirty. There are 3 kitchens and 2 were unusable as they are so dirty can't cook in them.
Shower and toilets in each room are dirty and the showers don't work properly, they dont drain properly and smell.
The whole villa is just falling apart. Dont trust the pictures. AVOID!!!!!!

Avoid this villa. Its old and dirty.

The villa it self is in serious need of renovations or a proper clean. Don't be fooled by the pictures in the ad they were probably take 5-10 years or even longer ago as the villa doesn't look like that.
The showers/ toilets in each room were dirty with the taps and the like all having grime on them. The showers and toilets are slow to drain.
The 3 kitchens are also dirty. The main kitchen is a bit cleaner as it's used the most but forget about the other 2 they can't be used without a major clean.
We were also unable to use the main pool for 4 out of the 7 days we were there as they had to clean it. Once it was 'cleaned' we swam in it and several members of our party got rashes that only cleared up once we stopped swimming in the pool.
The wooden decking is worn and has loose planks, there were several screws protruding from the deck that could seriously hurt you if you stepped on them.
These screws and nails were pointed out to the staff who then fixed them. The deck was still wobbly and wouldn't walk without shoes in case of protruding nails or splitters.
One of the showers was broken which we raised with the owner/ caretaker and it was fixed.
If the owners of the villa even cared, this is something you really shouldn't need to tell them but they should have fixed if they did routine maintenance.
The staff doesn't speak much English so google translate was the main way to communicate with them.

Bachelor Trip at Gahana!

I visited Gahana Villas with 11 of my friends on the 8th of June 2017 for 5 nights. So we basically had all three Villas to ourselves. We were all left speechless after we entered the villa compound. It is one of the best places we've stayed in. It had all the amenities of a five star hotel. The interior of the place was beautifully made with antiques all over. Every room, bathroom and hall was of a different type. Each more appealing than the other. The staff was very helpful and always hands on with whatever we needed help with. Special mention to Mr. Puttu who was the villa leader who helped us with everything from renting providing us a tourist guide to renting bikes. We had the best time in Bali and our stay at Gahana Villas just made it even more memorable! If you are traveling to Bali this is a must stay Villa. You will not be disappointed.

Jag älskade allt med detta boendet! Fantastiska möbler, trädgård och personal. Det var en väldigt fin touch att det kom en frukost kock när man ville varje dag. Man fick nästan vad man vill till frukost
