Best hotel to stay in Parapat
I love everything about this hotel. This hotel is quite secluded, which makes it so calm and serene, away from city bustling. The view is very beautiful, oversee the lake toba and samosir island. The service is very great, the staff is attentive and very helpful. They greet you whenever they saw you. The wifi is fast and and accessible at different part of the hotel. The breakfast is delicious. I would definitely recommend people to come here.

Disappointing Stay - Unacceptable Conditions
I stayed 1 night which was included in the package tour booked with the Medan Travel Agency (PT Wonderful Indonesia Tour & Travel). We were told that the hotel had recently renovated their rooms, it came as a shock to us. It was in such deplorable condition.
1) The upholstery of the sofa was torn.
2) The shower curtain was falling off the hooks.
3) The toilet seat was loose and wobbly.
4) While showering, the water flooded the bathroom as it couldn't drain properly.
5) The toilet bowl was also unable to flush, and water overflowed, causing a mess.
6) There was no telephone in the room, making it impossible to call for assistance.
7) We suffered two power cuts during the evening
8) The WiFi was a joke – incredibly weak, as we were given the wrong access details, making it practically unusable.
I reported these issues to the tour agent, but he was dismissive and unhelpful, telling us that it was high season. This lack of response was extremely frustrating, especially considering the high price paid for our tour package.
Overall, my experience was extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I hope the management takes these concerns seriously and works to improve the condition of the rooms for future guests.

Excellent staff service but poor maintenance.
We stayed for 2 nights and arrived late from Kualanamu airport visiting all along the way. Location is about 20 minutes drive to Parapet town. Takes about 3.45 hours drive from Kualanamu airport if you take toll road to Permatang Siantar route.
The hotel is aged and poorly maintained. We book 3 rooms and is reasonably clean and spacious but has lots of cockroaches running around. Electrical plug points not working, water shower is clogged with low water pressure, no hair dryer in room.
The restaurant table cloths are stained and dirty. Restaurant service is poor, Food replenishment is slow when there is a big crowd which there was one morning having a group retreat. Food variety is limited.
However the very good point is the hotel staffs are very helpful and fast to attend when complaint to them. l had a flat tyre the next morning and the staff was quick to call a mechanic for me to fix the punctured tyre. Special thanks to Hardi who had gone out of the way to help me on this.
The back side of the hotel is the Toba lake which has a reasonable view of the lake though not really spectacular. There are better hotels at parapet town with good view.
Not so recommended for family with children due to the cockroaches and the not so hygienic restaurant which the management has to improve.

Affordable hotel with a good view of Lake Toba
Although traveling through a rough terrain, the hotel perching at a spacious playground with a stunning view of Lake Toba below somewhat rewarded us the effort and thrills negotiating the tortuous road in the hills. Both dinner and breakfast were simple but good exercise facilities in the yard can easily make us forget these.

Memorable stay
Love this hotel..we had a 3 days stay at the hotel. We loved the food especially the breakfast, they prepare varied yet superb buffet. The hotel offers a breathtaking view of lake toba. Will come back to stay next time
