Professional clean hotel but lacking in warmth of traditional Najaf hotels

For muslims who want undertake ziyarat (pilgrimage) of Imam Ali (as) shrine then this is a great hotel. It is situated under 10 mins walk, which can be fine going through the Grand Bazaar avoiding summer temperatures of 45+! Plenty of shops near by. Rooms very clean, spacious with en-suite. Large lobby area with a cafe. Friendly professional staff. Has seven floors with the top floor hosting a buffet type restaurant which has lots of variety and tasty food. Views of Najaf excellent especially of the shrine complex of Imam Ali (as).
Only reason to not give it 5 stars is it is a professional establishment whereas other cheaper less glamorous hotels have a more welcoming feeling for pilgrims

Najaf Do - A Grand Hotel in the Heart of the City

Najaf Do is a beautiful Hotel situated within walking distance of Imam Ali s Holy shrine. It is 5 minutes away from eateries and juice shops as well as a vibrant market area. It is located on the main road and has a designated parking area.
This property is new and is well planned with a spacious lobby and modern decor. The rooms are relatively big and you can view the Holy Shrine from the window. Furthermore, they have provisions for an additional bed if required. The bathrooms are well equipped and have toiletries as well as sandals used for Islamic wuzu rituals.
The breakfast is located on the 7 th floor and has separate counters for assorted breads, a live counter for eggs as well as a machine for teas and coffees. Their Iraqi qaimar and Iraqi cream are a must try together with date syrup or assorted jams ! They also have traditional shakshouka, meats and think pizza slices which are very nice.
The staff are polite and friendly and very helpful.
We would recommend this Hotel to any travelers who are looking for comfort in the bustling city.

Comfortable and in the center

The hotel is in the center and you can walk around to visit the most important places. Comfortable room (ours overlooked the main square) and very good buffet restaurant. Even services like wi-fi work pretty well.
