I highly recommend this hotel - the staff are fantastic, so helpful and so pleasant. The room was lovely and the bed was really comfortable. Unfortunately, we only stayed one night as I would have loved to stay longer especially to use the spa which looks fabulous. I will definitely be back! And, I must emphasise that the staff are fantastic from the girls at reception to the waiting staff in the restaurant - absolutely top notch.

Great choice for Cork

Our room was very spacious. Breakfast offered many options from a traditional continental to a wonderful Full Irish breakfast or omelet. The staff in the restaurant and bar were wonderful, friendly and helping in sharing their recommendations for the other parts of our trip around the island. The hotel was in a central location for a day trip to Waterford and Blarney or dinner in Cork. My only area of opportunity is with the temperature in our room as it was not able to be maintained overnight which led to poor sleep.

Bliss

Our stay at the Maryborough Hotel & Spa was absolutely wonderful from beginning to end. I genuinely could not have asked for a better experience. My spa treatment was incredible—relaxing, beautifully done, and exactly what I needed. The room itself was serene and comfortable, creating the perfect atmosphere to unwind after a day of exploring.
The bar was another highlight. It was tasteful, welcoming, and had such a fun atmosphere. We ended up meeting some really wonderful people there, which made the evening even more memorable. And the breakfast the following morning was fantastic! The food was fresh, delicious, and a wonderful way to start the day.
The Maryborough combines elegance with genuine warmth and hospitality. Every detail made us feel welcome and cared for. I would happily return and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a special stay in Ireland. 10/10 without hesitation!
