Team event HQ
I stayed hear with a team on a busy July weekend. It was a convenient base to get to the locations we needed, with lots of parking. The hotel was sprawling, but well staffed to avoid getting lost. My room was clean, comfortable and quiet (despite the heat it was cool without the need for AC. The leisure centre was well run, and I enjoyed a swim and sauna in comfort.
We dined for T&C Sandwiches, an evening meal and breakfast. These were tasty and well presented, however, the T&C was a little disorganised (slow arriving and milk seemed to be a problem). I must compliment the helpful Luca who organised 'Ice' for the teams cooler boxes and personal use on very hot afternoons when we went to our matches on both occasions. All the staff I interacted with were all very helpful and accommodating, which is always great to see and experience.

Very bad receptionist
Overall I had a pleasant stay at this hotel, however my experience at reception was disappointing. The female receptionist with braces was unfriendly, rude, unprofessional,unhelpful and made me feel unwelcome. Her attitude did not reflect the quality of the hotel. I hope the management will address this issue.

Having reviewed the situation, the concern related to access to the leisure centre gym. You wished to bring your child into the gym; however, in line with our health and safety policy, children under the age of 16 are not permitted in the gym area. This policy was explained by our leisure centre team and was then reiterated at reception. It was also confirmed that your child was welcome to use the swimming pool facilities.
While we understand that this may have been disappointing, our team is required to apply our health and safety regulations consistently and cannot make exceptions.

Dreadful hotel
Very disappointed.
Bedroom and ensuite were in serious need of update.
Breakfast finished at 10.30 at the weekend!
Very loud, with a wedding party. There was a white stripe light flashing in our room intermittently. Unbelievable really.
Food was only okay.
Bar was closed to the public
All in all, would NOT recommend this hotel!

Girls trip
we just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone at the hotel for making our weekend so special.
A special thank you to Joanne for organising our accommodation and food reservations – everything was perfect. The food was absolutely beautiful, and we couldn’t have asked for better service.
We’d also like to thank Sabrina (we hope we’ve got your name right!) who welcomed us at the front door when we arrived, along with all of the reception staff. Everyone was so friendly, helpful, and professional throughout our stay.

Very nice hotel
Just returned from a two night stay at the Rochestown Park Hotel. Beautiful setting, large hotel with plenty of space to cater for all guest needs. There were a mix of guests we came across during our visit from, corporate guests, families, active retired and couples. There was a private ball for young guests when we stayed and you wouldn’t know that they were there. The only reason we noticed them was because of the marquee that was set up by the EV charging station. When we went to collect our car after it had completed its charge, the young well dressed guests arrived on coaches. They accessed the property through a private drive way and accessed the hotel through a private entrance.
All staff we encountered were young and pleasant, especially Anna in Sutton Bar and the young ladies we met each morning at breakfast.
Food was plentiful and tasty and there was plenty of seating outdoors for dining during the warm weather. We had dinner included in our package in the first night and went into Douglas to eat on our 2nd night.
Location was excellent to visit the surrounding areas and only a short walk into Douglas village if you wanted a change of scenery. This was our first visit to the hotel and it was very pleasant and would highly recommend. Would come back in the future.
All staff we encountered were young and pleasant, especially Anna in Sutton Bar and the young ladies we met each morning at breakfast.
