Enjoyable , best of both worlds Quite down the back part if you want peace or if music up front then the Crack is Mighty

Love this place , lovely atmosphere, Thomas the Barman is a real gem he will always greet the customers with a big smile or his cheeky wink if his hands are full , he alone makes the place welcoming and Ann a bar lady here also you couldn’t hope for a nicer greeting from either one , NO COMPLAINTS , and the people of Cong and Mayo in general are DECENT welcoming people , so definitely give Danaghers a visit , my feeling is you shouldn’t regret it

A welcoming & relaxing stay

Perfectly placed in the middle of Cong this beautifully refurbished Hotel had absolutely everything you could wish for a luxurious relaxing stay. From Reception to the bedrooms, all were tastefully decorated with quality linens, beautiful thick carpets, comfortable beds, hot shower, TV. free wi fi, in fact the list is endless. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The staff were welcoming and service offered was very good. The bar was quite large with outside seating, had a lovely ambience and was filled with photos and memorabilia of the Quiet Man. I felt the Hotel was good value for money, especially with breakfast included and would certainly return and stay here again.

Very decent hotel and very nice village

We stayed 2 nights at Danagher’s hotel, in a family room, spacious enough for 3.
Musical atmosphere in the evening, but it remains reasonable in terms of sound and time, and did not disturb our sleep.
Cong is very nice, nice walks to do in Cong and surroundings (Connemara, Burren).

Good Base, but needs improvements. We were visiting family nearby Cong, so really just needed a bed,bathroom & breakfast

Hotel is dated, room was pleasant enough although again dated. Bathroom was clean and modern however I didn’t wash my hair for the 4 days we were there as the shower was absolutely useless! Toilet wouldn’t flush, reported it and nothing done, managed to fix myself! By moving the cistern lid away from the wall. Pub is busy every night with regulars and some nights live Irish music.
Breakfast included and plenty of variety. Staff were all friendly and pleasant.
Would stay again, but not in room 7 purely because of the crap shower. Would need a guarantee that a shower was powerful not a trickle in any future bookings.

Great hotel and wonderful staff

Stayed here 9/08/23.The hotel was very good and the staff couldnt do enough for us. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and the staff where very attentive .
Thank you for the lovely stay.
