Home away from home

I loved this place! It's so warm and comfortably decorated, very homey, with lots of beautiful woodwork, huge, bright windows and a clean, modern en-suite bathroom. It's a short and easy walk to the main streets and rail station. The breakfasts were absolutely fantastic, my favorite meal of the day :-) And Greta was a dream! Really nice and warm, funny, helpful - guided me to well-suited options for traditional music and a nice evening meal after long day of train riding. I miss this place still :-)

Great stay in Killarney

When we arrived we were greeted with a warm welcome by Greta. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Location is perfect as it is only a short walk to city center but still in a quiet neighborhood. The breakfast options were wonderful, we left everyday with full bellies ready to take on the day! I can't recommend this place enough!

Must stay here again.

I only leave a review when I love the accommodations, restaurant, or event. Algret B&B was certainly one. Close to the pubs and shops, but situated in a seemingly quiet neighborhood. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfasts were the best we had in Ireland; however, the best aspect was Greta. You felt like you were going to grandma's house. We will definitely be staying here again if another trip to Ireland is in the cards for us. Thanks Greta.

Exceptional !!!

We arrived at Algret B&B to be greeted with a warm Killarney smile from Greta, our host and together with her Husband Alfred, run this fantastic place.
The guesthouse is spotlessly clean and well maintained. The bedrooms are roomy with comfortable beds. Tea/coffee & biscuits in the room, along with bottles of spring water.
The breakfasts are superb! Ranging from simple cereal assortment to a "full Irish' breakfast with copious tea, coffee, juice.
Greta loves baking and gave us her home baked cherry scones to take on our daily sightseeing. These are lovely and most welcome!
Greta is a lovely person with a warm, friendly personality.
This was our first time traveling to Ireland and Greta has made a lasting impression on us! ...I want to adopt her as my Nan!

Fantastic!

Greta welcomed me immediately and made me feel like a million dollars! The room was extremely clean and comfortable. Cozy room but it was only for me and I spent little time there anyway.
Breakfast was top notch! Never had black and white pudding but it was delicious.
