Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel was just right for us.

The hotel islocated close to the family we were visiting. We also were glad that Holy Trinity Episcopal church was right next door so we were able to attend service on Sunday We had a family room on the back side of the hotel and it was very quiet.

2 night b&b

I won a 2 night stay in this hotel and I am so happy I did. The room was amazing so clean and the bed was so comfortable. The staff were very friendly, good atmosphere and amazing food. The breakfast was unreal as was the food in the bar and also the coziness off the bar. Would definitely recommend. Only thing is it is a bit far from city centre however it is very close to the beach and me and my friend took a really nice long walk along- the hotel is very close to the beach. Very satisfied overall with my experience :)

Highly Recommend

Absolutely Fabulous from start to finish!!! Right beside Dalkey Village & short drive to Dún Laoghaire.
We stayed here 5 nights, breakfast included, ate in the castle two nights and the terrace one night.
The food here is second to none!! Absolutely delicious from the fresh breakfast with an abundance of different foods.. with wonderful staff.. I have to mention Breda who tried to give us same table we loved every morning; Joseph who is very attentive and makes sure everything is going smoothly and Carmen our waitress every morning who is absolutely lovely!!! Carmen we will be back to you!!
Dinner was delicious, I didn’t get the name of the waiter, but he was lovely!! (Monday & Tuesday 27th/28th July) and the Terrace.. also lovely lads, and very efficient - pizzas were fabulous!!!
The rooms .. we could have slept for Ireland.. extremely spacious and like sleeping on clouds..!!! We had a job to get up for breakfast lol!! No noise, a fan to had and fridge on request! Handy when you have just hit Butlers Chocolate Factory and have a million chocolate gifts to keep cool!!!
All n all we will definitely be back again!!!
The girls on reception on Monday night are also very helpful with information and very friendly!!!
A long review, but because of such a good experience, I couldn’t shorten it!!!!
Highly recommend!!

Exceptional

From the moment we arrived and walked in the door we were greeted by friendly and attentive staff .
Our room was ready early which was amazing.
The room was gorgeous. Nicely decorated. Had everything you need. We were lucky to have a balcony and had spectacular views .
We will definitely be back. Thank you!

First time at Fitzpatrick

Location was ideal just outside of Dalkey and a short drive from Dublin City centre. Reception, lounge, bar and restaurants all decorated in period furniture and fittings.Room 405 facing car park and side view of Dublin bay clean with a king size bed, serviced daily. Breakfast was excellent with plenty to choose from both continental and cooked. Service excellent every morning. Spa facilities excellent especially the pool which was used throughout the stay. Now the not so good but nothing which could be put right with little effort.
Noise from park park and paddle courts excessive especially around 9/10, perhaps a polite notice ?
Lock on inside of bedroom door missing ?
Fire evacuation diagram on back of door not straight, realign ?
Bathroom wash basin plug not allowing full basin of water , adjust ?
NO FRIDGE, provide ?
And finally red carpet in entrance of the hotel badly stained, clean or replace, first impressions do really count.
Nonetheless we enjoyed our stay.
