Very beautiful hotel. Early check in was nice, but they charged for that.Hoyel dtaff friendly. Beautiful room and the downstairs and eatery was gorgeous. Convenient taxis outside. Very lively streets at night with night club music. Only slightly hear from toom. Went right to bed with no problem.close to Temple Bar area and very close to Stephen's Green park.

Pros: Great location, convenient to many attractions and public transportation. Comfortable bed. Specious room. Clean. Friendly , efficient check-in/out personnel.
Cons: There was no shelf in the shower, no place to set soap, shampoo, etc. I didn't realize the room I booked was half underground.
That's not a problem, but there was a large independent AC unit sitting on a shelf with a duct that ran out an open window that wasn't sealed nor could you shut the shutter to block light or people looking in. It was strange.

Double booked in error, but cancellation of mistaken booking refund flatly refused! Even though we stayed there.

I made a reservation at the Iveagh Garden Hotel, Dublin, via Expedia. Unfortunately I made an error and booked the Friday and Saturday nights instead of the Saturday and Sunday nights. I immediately called the hotel, who said that any changes had to be made via Expedia, so I put in a cancellation request on Expedia and booked for the correct nights. Expedia explained on their email confirmation that a refund would be issued if the property approved my request. No refund was forthcoming so I checked with Expedia on my return. They called the hotel and explained that I had stayed there, but the Iveagh Garden refused to issue a refund. Had I known they would be so obdurate, I would just have booked an extra night. Instead I paid for 4 nights to stay for 2.

Do NOT stay here if you would like to sleep

We had two rooms on the first floor of the hotel facing Harcourt. We may as well have had a bed in the nightclub downstairs. We got zero hours of sleep.
I spoke to Kevin, the manager, on the second night we were staying on your property. I called at 3a that night to advise we were not sleeping. I further advised of the issues the next morning. The front desk clerk stated a manager would immediately reach out to me. I have heard nothing. It was a useless stay and I will be disputing my credit card charges. It is malpractice to place people in the rooms in which we were registered. It was horrific.

Ireland Trip

Everything was wonderful at the Iveagh Garden Hotel. Will stay again next time in Dublin. My only wish is that they had pancakes made by their cooks, not a machine.
