Comfortable, clean & friendly hotel
Had a very comfortable, 3 night stay here, a couple of weeks ago. Stayed in a standard double room in a quiet area overlooking the courtyard. The room was quiet & spotless. The bed was clean & comfortable and we slept well. Bathroom products were from the white company and smelt lovely. Shower was good and powerful enough.
Breakfast was delicious, with lots of choice. Staff were friendly, however just need to be a little more attentive to clear dirty plates away so you can use clean crockery.
Reception staff were polite & helpful.
The area is about a 25 minute walk from the city centre. It’s 10 mins to the train station. Taxi costs around €20. The neighbourhood feels relatively safe, however if you’re walking, there are a couple of areas that are rougher nearer the city and even though we did walk back once at night, it didn’t feel too safe.
Visit Howth for the day, it’s a beautiful coastal village with a stunning harbour. Only a 25 minute train ride away. Lovely day out and a peaceful contrast to the bustling city.
Get the airbus from the airport, it’s only about 20 mins away and will drop you 10 minute walk from the hotel.

Wonderful Staff
Congratulations to all the staff of Croke Park. This is my 3rd or 4th time staying. Each time your staff members go above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Every staff member from reception to bar staff to breakfast staff are wonderful. I asked for and received an accessible room not too far from the lift. Couldn't ask for better located room about 5 metres from lift. Thank you. It makes such a difference to someone with mobility issues. A lot of hotels locate their "accessible room" really far from their lifts. Completely defeats the purpose. So take a bow Croke Park Hotel - all of you are great.
