Good
Lovely hotel, our room was small but was cosy. The decor in the hotel is nice to look at.
Breakfast was really good there.
Spa was really nice too.
However, please be advised that there is no car park at this hotel.
Unfortunately Booking.com stated that there was parking, and there was not.

We regret any inconvenience caused by the lack of on-site parking and understand how this may have impacted your stay, especially in light of the conflicting information provided by the booking platform. We do have small amount of parking spaces, not on the premises, but adjacent building in the basement at additional cost. Availability is very limited on "first come, first serve" basis. We are sorry this wasn't mentioned to you during your visit. Brilliant stay
Went to Take That concert in Aviva and stayed here again. This is former Mayson hotel (now rebranded as Dean Docklands). Staff amazing and friendly, food option are great and all amenities you need. Great location with easy access to the stadium but also to main train station in Connolly with trams running every 10min into city centre too

We walked in and fell in love with the room and the atmosphere of the hotel! The pool and sauna was lovely to relax in and the food from the restaurant in the hotel was amazing as well. We had an amazing time the few days we stayed there. And will book here again when back in Dublin!

Honest review
Was so looking forward to this stay but deflated from start the female staff at reception had extremely poor English difficult to understand when explaining about hotel. She took 100euo deposit of my card and this is not returned to you for a few days after your stay which I was not made aware of on booking. We sat at main bar to have a drink on arrival barman was rude when asking for a drink stating he was busy making cocktails ushered his hand at us in frustration….room decor lovely no wardrobe no standard dressing gowns that you would expect in order to use spa facilities. We ate in sidekick restaurant food was amazing and that was the only positive experience of this stay. Noise in hotel at night terrible doors banging pipes rattling all night really poor sleep Overall not worth 370euro a night….poor staff hospitality.

This is a standard practise in many properties in Ireland. Deposit is held for incidentals like room charges. Having said that, we sincerely apologise if this wasn't explained to you properly during the check-in process. Your comments regarding the hospitality at the bar and the noise disturbances throughout the night are taken seriously, as we strive to provide a welcoming and restful environment for our guests. Very disappointed!
Unfortunately, what should have been a really enjoyable stay at The Dean was badly affected by construction work taking place in the office building directly opposite.
The work continued until approximately 11:55pm and started again at 6:39am, leaving us with around five hours’ sleep.
What disappointed me most was that the hotel was clearly aware of the building works, yet guests were still being allocated rooms on the side of the hotel directly facing the construction. Surely, where possible, guests should be placed away from the affected rooms, particularly when work is taking place so early and so late.
I appreciate that The Dean doesn’t control the construction work itself, but they do have a responsibility to consider the welfare and comfort of their guests and minimise the impact where they can.
We were offered €20 off one breakfast as compensation, which unfortunately didn’t feel proportionate to the disruption.
It’s a real shame because the hotel itself is lovely and we otherwise enjoyed our stay in Dublin. Better communication, room allocation and consideration for guests affected by the works would have made a big difference.
