Doesn’t get any better than the Merrion!

Where to start - the Merrion is over the top fantastic! I stayed for 2 nights with my 24 year old daughter. The hotel, staff, service and amenities are just all outstanding. 10 stars! We were given a lovely twin room with a terrace overlooking the gardens. We received some welcome fruit and chocolates. Such a nice touch. Because our bags took 15 minutes to get to our room - an oversight - we were brought a bottle of champagne. Totally unnecessary but greatly appreciated! We arrived late to had dinner the first night in the garden room. I had a steak which was a little touch and it was taken off the bill - no questions asked. We also had crab cakes which were outstanding. Breakfast was included in our rate and also outstanding. A cold buffet plus you can order eggs, French toast, pancakes etc off the menu. French toast was incredible. The room was spacious as was the bathroom and so well appointed. Can’t say enough good things about the hotel. And the location is the best!! Thank you Merrion for an outstanding end to our vacation in Ireland!

Wonderful peaceful stay in the heart of Dublin

We spent my birthday weekend at the Merrion, and it exceeded expectations. The hotel was under refurb but we didn't notice it at all. The place itself is very well located, close to pubs and not far from the center but still removed for some peace and quiet. Our rate included breakfast which we recommend highly. Excellent service and food. We didn't use the gym as it was closed, but the in-room amenities were great. Comfortable bed, big bath, and everything was thought through. They left a glasses wipe and case out for me, some spare toiletries and water and slippers.

Always a pleasure.

As an occasional visitor to this hotel, it lives up to all expectations. Room lovely. It was a special offer called the five star steal so complementary bottle of champagne on arrival. Food in Garden restaurant very good with a very good glass of wine as recommended by the waitress. Breakfast the following morning was also very good, especially after a nice little swim in the pool which, by chance, we mostly had to ourselves. Have always liked this hotel and have stayed a number of times.

Cannot wait to return

Our stay at this hotel was nothing short of spectacular. Every single detail is meticulously overseen, leaving absolutely no room for disappointment. The property is beautifully appointed, and the rooms are perfectly maintained, fresh, and exceptionally comfortable. What truly elevates this hotel, however, is the staff. Their service is excellent, professional, and genuinely welcoming. This is our fifth stay at the hotel and they remembered us! If you appreciate a hotel that gets every little thing right, look no further. We cannot recommend it highly enough!

Positive Experience

I had a relaxing evening in the beautifully laid out Drawing Room with family. Alina was pleasant and more than willing to share her wonderful knowledge of the art work on display with me. I look forward to returning to the Drawing Room again on my next visit to Dublin.
