Our room over looked the beach with a small balcony. Comfortable bed and the food was really good. Good service too

Nothing Special About the Hotel

Other than the beautiful sea view from the porch and probably a couple of the rooms, there was nothing particularly special about this hotel. The lady at reception was grumpy, but maybe she was having a bad day. The room was fine, but nothing special. Breakfast was good, but again nothing special. There is lovely beach next to the hotel that several hearty swimmers were enjoying in the early morning.

Perfect

A gem of a place… amazing location with beautifully appointed rooms, our room had an incredible sea view. We had drinks on the terrace overlooking the beach followed by an excellent dinner in the restaurant. Staff very friendly & efficient.

Staff were fantastic and very upbeat and helpful.
Room was middling, a lil tired and a loose toilet roll holder, faulty shower and a few bad hooks in the room were disappointing, overall it was fine jus a lil let down.
(side note, hair dryer was missing, so i too k a lil mosey down stairs to borrow one,... 5min later a lovely waitress took care of my request....30 mins after convincing the porter that we 'infact do not have a hair dryer in the room, he delivered one', needless to say my wife's hair was now dry....
The view was fantastic and worth the extra for a balcony, though we were also invited to view the bins (to be fair the owner gave us a mighty 'good morning' and had them moved..without any say on our part) so points for that.
One note is that the actual hotel is festooned with amazing art, contemporary and abstract, lil nuggets of fun all over.
Checkout was disappointing, after 10mins wait (at checkout time mind you). the receptionist was (i believe it was the manager/owner's daughter, the actual receptionist was a delight)..she took the key and said 'thank you,.. you can go now'
i replied with 'lil note..ur toilet role holder is falling off the wall....'ah',
Honestly i think we got more affection and conversation from fellow holidaymakers on the way out the foyer.
My overall thoughts....
You deserve better, want to spend good money on a mid BnB experience with a decent breakfast n a nice view for double the price of anywere else (jus walk to the beach)

The place is worth the trip

Located opposite a small beach, this hotel / b&b is a real treat.
The sea view room is worth the trip.
The surroundings are also worth a visit.
We slept like God lulled by the waves of the sea.
The only small flaw, our room had carpeting, others recently renovated not. But it certainly didn't ruin our stay.
