Galway Stay
My room was fabulous and the bedroom was very comfortable.
Orla greeted me and made me feel very welcome. Her husband even won a All Ireland Hurling Medal.

Amazing from start to finish
The service at breakfast handled by the equally as charming Orla was exceptional, I was extremely well looked after.
Only two issues I would raise, where the kettle was, maybe a plug there would be perfect rather than me having to move the kettle to make tea/coffee.
Also the WiFiI found was better in patches in my room and not all over the room but the tv worked and there was a movie on so I was happy out.
I'm in Galway too much these days but next time I am, I'd be more than happy to stay in Tara Lodge with this exceptional duo once again.
Also a footnote for anyone staying there, if you were like me and on the tachograph, maybe stock up with some supplies before checking in. Even though you're close to the city, you'd have to travel a few minutes by foot to get snacks etc if there's none being delivered so make sure you're kitted up.
It was also so peaceful in the neighbourhood that I felt I was in the wilderness surrounded by quiet nature. Just ideal when you're visiting a magical place like Galway.

One of the best B&Bs we've stayed at.
No issues if you have a car.
It is spotless and extremely well run, the breakfast options were also excellent.
Orla and Mike were great hosts and went out of their way making sure our stay was enjoyable.
The room itself was very comfortable, though the ensuite bathroom was small.
Highly recommended.
The nearby Huntsman Inn is a great choice for dinner, with possibly the best beef burger we've ever had.

A Great Find
Orla was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and quiet though the bathroom was extremely narrow. That said, there was plenty of hot water and a good shower so it was not bad. There is free parking as it is in a residential neighborhood so that is also a plus. However, we did have to pay 5 Euro a day when we drove into Galway - I recommend parking at the Cathedral as you can stay all day for your 5 Euro there as opposed to garages or metered street parking which are more expensive. After 6:30 pm, the cathedral parking is free.
Anyway, back to Tara Lodge. The wiifi signal was very good even in our room and breakfasts were great. I would definitely stay there again if I am ever in the area.
