Great location!

Perfect for a stop on a route in the south west of Ireland, between the Beara Peninsula and the Kerry Peninsula. The view from the terrace, the dining room and the living room upstairs is magnificent. As for the breakfast, it is hearty and gourmet! Geraldine is a very nice host, and the rooms are clean and welcoming.
The town of Kenmare is a few kilometers away. You will find all the shops and restaurants necessary for your stay.

Perfection

This is the most amazing little apartment with the perfect host and fantastic views already looking forward to coming back, Geraldine has thought of everything including little scones in arrival she was so accommodating when we said we wouldn’t arrive till late actually sad to go home

Truly Delightful Getaway

A truly delightful getaway at the back of the hosts’ residence with independent entrance and car parking space. The view outside is wonderful. The accommodation is peaceful, quiet and comfortable and has all the necessary amenities and facilities. There were welcome home baked cake, milk and orange juice in the fridge.
The bedroom is large with a very comfortable bed. Heating was also available in both the living area and bedroom although most of the time it wasn’t required.
The host, Helen and Sarah were around to welcome us and were most helpful in providing us with assistance and information during our stay.
Kenmare town is only a short drive away with wonderful restaurants and quaint shops and is definitely worth visiting.
We will definitely recommend Grenane Heights in Kenmare if you are visiting Ireland.

Don't book anywhere else - STAY HERE!!!!!

We stayed at Grenane Heights for 3 nights. Our hostess, Geraldine, was absolutely fantastic. We had to check in after 9pm and she had no problem with that - she came out to meet us and offered to make us tea if we didn't want to make our own in our room. The shower was sublime and I slept fantastically on such a comfy bed. The hot breakfast each morning was fantastic and Geraldine made fresh scones every morning which I couldn't get enough of. She even kindly packed scones for us to take out with us every day and provided butter in a Tupperware container (and she packed me extra scones to take home after we checked out). After a long and busy day on day 2 Geraldine kindly made us a fresh filter coffee to relax and unwind with. Nothing was too much for her to do for us. Each day our rooms were cleaned and fresh towels and soap gel was provided. The room was gorgeous and big. And then there was the absolutely fantastic and amazing view......wow, wow, wow. I got up early just to sit on one of the sun chairs and just appreciate the view with the sound of the early morning birds. I cannot say enough good things about this BnB. Can't wait to stay there again.
