Perfectly suited and within walking distance to Slane castle
Within walking distance to the village food onsite
Showers were busy at times but that is to be expected
24 hour security
Would definitely recommend
The family that run the campsite and hostel are very friendly and accommodating

If Fyre festival was in irelad
The website states "We will also have a wide and varied selection of food stalls to cater for your every need." There was one stall selling burgers and pizza. At least they advertised burgers and hot dogs when we went we where told pizzas only and they kept stopping the till. I asked about this and they said it's because breakfast was busier than expected. How could it not be expected that all campers would have to eat.
Tents where so close together that sleep was impossible.
The bins consisted of one skip and it was the smallest skip I've ever seen. It was overflowing before the end of day 1
Toilets will be located throughout the campsite means a very small amount of showers in one corner

Will never return
Location was fantastic but we were packed in like sardines .cars all ended up blocked in so had to rely on whoever camped next to you to move their car if you wanted to leave early on the Sunday.our tent was literally centimetres from the next so packed in you could hear everything.
No curfew seemed to be in place people were talking screaming and shouting and playing music and running car engines right up until 4am .I barely got 3-4 hours sleep over the two nights.
Meant to have 24 hours security but they did absolutely nothing to stop the noise.
In fact they would walk about shouting right next to people's tents.
No one seemed to have a clue what was going on I asked managers stewards and security what time we could leave Sunday and from what exit.no one knew then finally got told it was from 6am only to find out on the morning we left that we could've left from 2am when the garda reopened the closed roads
Had one pizza van and one catering van for what must be thousands of campers packed in.kept closing pizza section and they ran out of milk on other section and the queues were massive and was also expensive was 10 euro for just a chicken burger with no chips and 5 euro if you wanted a tiny bag of ice.also only 8 showers on site and two locations of portaloos.badly managed and was definitely over sold by pure greed.
Will never stay again purely for the fact we were rammed in and how badly organised and managed it was .
