Updated boutique hotel in prime location!

Boutique updated hotel in a prime location with a fabulous breakfast. We arrived early, straight from the airport. We were able to drop off luggage to hold until our rooms were ready in early afternoon. We dined on the outdoor patio. Food and coffee were perfect. Walkable to all locations we wanted to visit. Hotel and dining room staff were very nice. Suite was clean and modern. We slept 12 hours straight in a nice, dark, air conditioned room. Shower was hot (loved it!) and water pressure was great. Parlor in the basement is a bonus - a nice lounge feel for sitting with family, with extra water, tea and coffee. We didn’t use the gym—Had essentials (weights, treadmill, bike) in tight space (1-2 could work out simultaneously). We observed another couple checking in after 6pm when main building and restaurant are closed. Was very quiet by then. I suspect their check in experience was different than ours (self check in).

Wonderful Experience

We had a wonderful stay at The Bedford in Limerick. The hotel is beautiful, spotless, and very well maintained. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome with their genuine friendliness, hospitality, and willingness to accommodate any request.
Our room was comfortable, clean, and equipped with air conditioning, which made our stay especially enjoyable. The attention to detail and the warm, welcoming atmosphere really stood out.
The Bedford is in a great location and exceeded our expectations in every way. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Limerick and would gladly stay here again. Thank you to everyone at The Bedford for making our visit so memorable!

Brilliant Bedford

Superb food right in the heart of Limerick city. This place never fails to impress. The staff are top class and so friendly and the food is always excellent. Recently had customers visit our business from overseas and contacted The Bedford to organise lunch. All cooked fresh and everyone loved the food, an option you may not think of when organising or hosting an event in your home or office in Limerick. 10/10. I will be definitely doing the same for our next event. Thanks to all in The Bedford Limerick for superb food and service.

Best stay in our Ireland trip

During a trip round Ireland we stayed in 6 different places and this was by far and away the best. We arrived from a hot train on a very hot day and were warmly greeted at reception. We were early but we able to leave our bags at reception and we decided to cool down and have lunch in the cafe (the reception is located here, next door to where you actually stay). Lunch was delicious and everyone we encountered at the cafe and reception were so friendly and couldn't do enough for you. When we returned after a look round Limerick we were told we'd been upgraded as we'd booked direct and our bags had been placed in our rooms- excellent service. The room was lovely, clean and bonus- air conditioned! Much needed that day! Apparently not many places in Limerick are. Great black-out curtains too. I was surprised that I could hear next door room quite clearly but luckily they were good neighbours and it was quiet at night. Got to be honest, one of the main positives was the parlour room where we could help ourselves to a glass of wine from the fridge (and tea, coffee, chocolates, travel books). Breakfast was included and was in the cafe next door from 8AM. Again service was super friendly and the breakfast was top quality. Excellent value for money all round. Communication was great too with a courtesy call and email they day before explaining about self check-in after 6. Thanks for a great stay Sharron and team.
