Hidden gem of art work and books on Main Street, Liscannor

Modern hotel without cooked food. Continental style buffet breakfast. Quiet. Lovely nooks and crannies with loads of books of Irish and local interest for guests to peruse and ruminate upon. A well stocked bar and fantastic collection of art work. Many Irish paintings and photographs to delight the visitor. A place where i felt i could stay and write or study. For dinner visit the excellent Vaughans Seafood Bar or busy McHughs bar or Egan's Bar. These gems and this hotel are all just next door on same short street. A big shout out for Carmel and Olan and other staff. Olan gave us a great snapshot tour of the art and Carmel has good local knowledge of Clare. Very clean and no noise. Good off street car parking . Small balcony in bed room. Children welcome. Good value. Well located and on the bus route that goes to Galway . Easy distance to Lahinch if you need the crowds there of the surfing.

Location excellent. Across from the harbour and 20 meters away from a very good choice of excellent restaurants and pubs

Fabulous overnight stay. Hotel staff were very professional and helpful and we received a lovely warm welcome from reception.
Rooms super clean and beds extremely comfortable.
Continental breakfast super and more than sufficient.
Will return.

Magic!

We booked at the last minute they were very kind and we found a super special Hotel, breakfast included really delicious! Staff available for every need. Beautiful rooms, gigantic beds and comfortable!! Very large and modern bathroom. Despite the carpet the floor was very clean. Even if it included breakfast in the room was available a coffee machine, and as an Italian I must say it was really good! Thank you so much fantastic experience we will definitely be back!

Excellent stay

From the welcome we received through to leaving we couldn’t find any fault (not that we were looking). The room was very clean, as was the bathroom. The bed was large & comfy.
