Wow! Loved this place
Sycamore Lodge is run by a lovely couple, Isabelle & Gary.
We had a very nice comfortable room with everything you need.
A lovely pot of tea and carrot cake greeted us on arrival.
Gary was kind enough to take us into Kilkee and recommended pubs for us to visit and picked us up when we were done. So kind. Isabelle recommended watching the sunset, which we did, beautiful.
Breakfast was excellent we both chose the Sycamore which was chorizo in a rich tomato sauce with basil and pine nuts on an English muffin with a fried egg, delicious. There was also a table with excellent selection of continental breakfast.

Lovely b&b and amazing hosts!
My husband and I recently spent two nights at the Sycamore Lodge, and we just loved it! From the moment we were greated by the friendly hosts Garry, Isabelle, their cute baby boy and adorable dog Otis, we felt right at home. The couple was SO nice and it truly felt like we were visiting good friends. They gave us some good suggestions of places to eat and things to do. We enjoyed our many conversations with the two of them (and especially LOVED the tricks that Otis performed!). The home and gardens were lovely, our room was decorated beautifully, and everything was very clean. Breakfast was so good! There were many options available, including plenty of creative and yummy hot items. I highly recommend the Sycamore Lodge!
