Fabulous wedding venue.

This was a delightful experience. We attended a family wedding in their small chapel. The event rooms (cocktails, dining, dancing) were perfect. Old castle feeling. Beautifully appointed with furniture and art. I highly recommend. The staff was regally accommodating.

Magical Experience at Markree Castle

We hosted our dughter's wedding at Markree Castle with 175 guests. The facilities and service were remarkable. Everyone at the Castle was helpful and accomodating. Our daughter and now son-in-law described the overall experience as "magical", and they are right. I could go on, but you get the message.
As for the Castle itself, pictures don't lie (except for the reception rooms downstairs - the rooms are much nicer than what appears in pictures). Would consider this a 5* destination.

Fit For A King

Our visit was a perfect cap to a fairytale wedding, hosted by the consummate host. No ask was to big or to small. The staff were attentive and extremely helpful. We can't thank them enough for the memories.

Best Stay in Ireland for Vacation

I selected this stay for my mom and I as a surprise for the end of our Ireland vacation. This castle was an amazing experience. The reception was so kind and helpful and assistance with luggage was greatly appreciated, as it is mostly stairs (a lift is available as well). We had the ability to explore the entire castle and the grounds as well. The afternoon reception in the lower kitchen with the patio was a nice welcome after traveling all day in the car. The bar and continental breakfast offering were also amazing. Views from the dining room with the old decor were a great start to the day. The room was very spacious and the accommodations offered everything we needed. The view over the garden was a perfect way to wake up. I highly recommend this place and company for their attention to the details and the guest experience.

Marvelous Markree Castle

A truly magical place. Fantastic, friendly,helpful staff. Amazing food. Beautiful grounds. Would go back in a heart beat.
